[opensuse-translation] New Tajik Language for OpenSUSE

To Whom It May Concern, My name is Victor Ibragimov, a lead translator and coordinator for Tajik KDE Team. I live in Dushanbe, Tajikistan (North from Afghanistan and West from China). For the past five years I have been involved in Software Localization projects for Tajik Language and initially have localized Mandriva/Mandrake Linux and KDE into Tajik. It would be real nice to get OpenSUSE speak Tajik! Tajik Language does not yet exist in OpenSUSE, so I would like to be a coordinator of Tajik language and become an asset for OpenSUSE Localization Project. My wiki user page is created at http://developer.novell.com/wiki/index.php/User:Tajiksuse In addition I have added OpenSUSE project information page at http://www.kde.tj/index.php/Main/OpenSUSE and will keep both pages updated as we progress on Tajik translations. [opensuse-translation] Translation commit deadlines for milestone releases

Hello @all! Recently I was wondering how many days it takes to build a milestone release, cause it is important for submitting translation changes. Karl, is there any way to know, what revision of translation repository was taken for specific milestone build? It would be great to know the timeframe for this... [opensuse-translation] troubles with zypper.po (IT)

Hi all, I'm translating the casa-ats.it.po file and I've found a string that seems to be incomplete: msgid "Cannot sysconfig settings." msgstr "" "#-#-#-#-# casa-ats.it.po (casa-ats) #-#-#-#-#\n" "Impossibile reimpostare le impostazioni di sysconfig.\n" "#-#-#-#-# casa-ats.it.po (YaST (@memory@)) #-#-#-#-#\n" "Impossibile salvare le impostazioni del sistema." I've opened a bug report (#527743) that I've closed since it is a duplicate of https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=434342 This bug is quite old (creation date: 2008-10-10) but it is still open. Does someone know what is the right sentence, so I can complete the translation of the file (even if it contains an incomplete string). [opensuse-translation] Missing gnome-main-menu file in trunk

Hi folks. I noticed in M6 that some items in SLAB menu aren´t translated to my native language. If i´m right, SLAB translations are in gnome-main-menu file. But gnome-main-menu is not in trunk, it´s only in openSUSE-11_1-Branch and openSUSE-11_0-Branch. Why is missing in trunk? Hi translators, The openSUSE greeter seems to have been updated : http://en.opensuse.org/Image:OS11.2M4-kde-greeter.png But the POT file SUSEgreeter.pot is not updated : https://forgesvn1.novell.com/viewsvn/suse-i18n/trunk/lcn/50-pot/SUSEgreeter… It seems that it was Stephan Binner (Beineri) which updated the POT. I hope he read this list or if someone has his e-mail address to forward this e-mail. Otherwise we will wait Karl.
