ISDN/DSP-Karte unter LINUX?

Hallo, mir wurde eine sog. ISDN/DSP-Karte (ISDN u. Sound auf einer Karte) zum Kauf angeboten. Mich würde jetzt interessieren ob diese Karte unter LINUX funktioniert. Ganz (ISDN u. Sound) nur halb (nur ISDN/nur Sound) oder gar nicht. Was das für eine Karte ist? K.A. Gut lesbar ist INTEL aber sonst keine Angaben. Ich kann noch zwei Siemens-Chips erkennnen, Beschriftung: [ PEB 2086 N ISAC-S V1.1 IOM-2 ] einen Crystal-Chip, Beschriftung: [ CRYSTAL CS4215-KL UTASFF9608 ] IMHO Sound zwei DSP-Chips, Beschriftung: [ 1991 TI TMS320C31PQL40 ED-58A7C9W ] und den INTEL-Chip, Beschriftung: [ INTEL 202275-361 PD65658GD-199 9604RVA99 ] -- Thomas Graul <TGraul(a)T-Online.de> D - 64289 Darmstadt

Probleme mit n-tem ISP

Hallo Liste, habe Probleme mit der Verbindung zu einem weiteren (n-ten ) ISP. Mein Dfue-Taetigkeiten funktionieren mit dem bisherigen ISP tadellos. Nun habe ich einen neuen ISP konfiguriert und die Anwahl scheint auch zu funzen. Dennoch kann ich keine Verbindung zu einem anderen Rechner aufnehmen. nutze SuSe 7.0 dns sind korrekt gesetzt. Linux 7.2 und Teledat USB 2 a/b

Hallo liebe SUSE Leute. Als absoluter Linux Neuling habe ich so meine Probleme mit dem Einbinden meiner o.g. ISDN Telekomkiste. Wenn Linux gestartet wird uebernimmt es die totale Kontrolle der Teledat USB 2 a/b und es ist kein telefonieren mehr moeglich. Da hilft nur noch die Trennung des USB Anschlusses. Auf irgend einer Seite bei SUSE habe ich gelesen dass dieses Teil nicht zum laufen zu bringen ist. Stimmt das noch ?? Sollte jemand einen Dreh kennen um das Teil zum funzen zu bringen, helft einem Newbie. Danke im Voraus Joachim webmaster(a)jweinert.de

ipchains oder ungewollte ISDN Verbindungen

Hallo, mich quält derzeit folgendes Problem: Alle 2 Min. wird eine Verbindung zum Internet aufgebaut solbalt die Windows-Clients im Netz sind. Ich habe mit folgenden Befehlen versucht das zu unterbinden - leider erfolgslos. ipchains -A input -s 0/0 -d 0/0 -p tcp --sport 137:139 -j DENY -i eth0 ipchains -A input -s 0/0 -d 0/0 -p udp --sport 137:139 -j DENY -i eth0 Eigentlich sollen nun die Ports 137 - 139 gesperrt sein. Fritz!Card PCI 2.0

Hallo Liste, Ich habe die AVM Fritz!Card PCI 2.0 ins Auge gefasst, aber diese Karte wird nicht direkt von Linux unterstützt, man benötigt die entspr. Treiber direkt von AVM. Sind diese schwierig zu installieren, gibt es irgendwelche bekannten Probleme mit dieser Karte/Treiber(habe schon in der Support-DB den Artikel gelesen!) ? Oder gibt es vergleichbare Karten, die dieselben Funktionen haben, wie die o.g. Karte, die unter Linux problemlos installiert werden können (Preislageauch etwa wie die FritzCard)? mfg und Danke schon mal Dominic Burger

"demuxprotrej" mit Fritzcard PNP

Hallo, habe gerade eine Fritzcard PNP erstanden und wollte die eigentlich gegen meine alte Elsa austauschen - wegen Faxen. Bevor ich mir die capi4linux ansehe, wollte ich die Karte erst mal ganz "normal" einbinden. Habe mit Yast zunächst die Fritzcard statt der Elsa ausgewählt. Läßt sich hier einwandfrei starten. Die Einwahl mitsamt ip-Nummernübergabe klappt ebenfalls, nur gibt's dann statt einer anständigen Verbindung nur die folgende Meldung in /var/log/messages: ipppd[13919]: demuxprotrej: Unrecognized Protocol-Reject for protocol 0x3b Ersetze ich dann wieder /etc/rc.config.d/i4l_hardware.rc.config durch die alte Version mit der Elsa, läuft's nach Neustart des ISDN-Systems wieder einwandfrei. (Habe im Moment beide Karten drin). System: SuSe 7.2 mit 2.4.4er Kernel. Zeitweise war die Fritzcard als einzige Isa-Karte drin. Anbei ein paar Logfileauszüge. "rcpppoed stop". aufgrund dieser syntax kannt du in die start- und stop- scripte der runlevel (2) wunderbar links setzen zu rcpppoed. alle startlinks rufen die entsprechenden programme mit der option "start" auf, alle stopscripte mit "stop". zusaetzlich noch einen stoplink in runlevel 0. die manpages zu den scripten der runlevels geben genug hinweise, wie das aussehen muss. tip: die nummern der start/stoplinks entscheiden ueber die reihenfolge der ausfuehrung. sortiere die aufrufe fuer den pppoedstart ganz "nach hinten" und den stopaufruf "nach vorn" in der reihenfolge. koennte sonst zu unnoetigen fehlermeldungen kommen. wolfgang

hallo liste das ich einen router mit SuSE 7.1 und einem kernel 2.2.18 betreibe, damit gehe ich euch ja schon seit langem auf den geist. nun wundert es mich aber das bei mir, obwohl es in der /etc/rc.config eingetragen ist pppoed nich automatisch gestartet wird. ich habe es mit yast eingetragen, so dass von dieser seite her ja keine fehler auftreten sollten. ich muss aber immer wenn ich meinen rechner starte rcpppoed start eingeben um ihn amnuell zu starten. hat da jemand eine loesung fuer oder weiss wo ich den fehler suchen kann/muss? da ich nicht weiss was zur fehler suche in diesem falle von nutzen ist muss ich eben warten bis ihr mir sagt wo ich die gescuhten informationen finde. danke andrej

Hallo, ich habe gestern einen Arbeitsplatz mit WIN2000 ausgerüstet, der an einem DSL-Router (SUSE 7.0) hängt. Da ich online nicht alle Seiten korrekt angezeigt bekomme, muß an der WIN-Kiste wohl noch etwas fehlen. Muß bei WIN2000 auch der MTU-Wert angegeben werden? Wenn ja, wo? Oder kann es an etwas anderem liegen? Danke Christian

Moin, > Weißt Du vielleicht zufällig noch, ob der isdnlog bei Dir auch "He: > No We: No" meldete oder etwa "He: No We: Yes". Ich vermute, dass das > über LCP Pakete ausgehandelt wird und meiner dann halt auch "We: No" Bei mir hat "He: No We:Yes" gemeldet, ich saß auch mal recht lange vor diesem Problem. Ich habe schon an meinen Augen gezweifelt. Wie gesagt, die Anweisungen in der SDB befolgen, dann sollte Dein Problem behoben sein. Bei mir funzte das ganze mit Kernel 2.2.13 (SuSE6.3) Ciao Andre
