Das ist meine Erfahrung, die auch von ARCOR bestätigt wurde. Bei einem Verbindungsabbruch, z.B. durch eine defekte Netzwerkkarte o.ä. kann es passieren, dass die Verbindung beim AC noch als Aufgebaut erscheint (timeout dafür legt der Betreiber fest). Dann hilft wirklich nur noch ein Auschalten des Modems (auf Reset und Syncronisierung hoffen ;-). Habe genau dieses Problem ca. 4 Wochen lang gehabt in Verbindung einer Schneider und Koch (Realtek) Netzwerkkarte gehabt. Tausch mit ner 25DM Karte und es lief einwandfrei... Hallo, Ich habe ein Problem mit DSL. Sobald versucht wird eine Verbindung aufzubauen stuerzt der pppoed mit untenstehenden Worten in /var/log/messages ab. Bislang funktionierte alles praechtig. SuSE 7.2 als MASQ Gateway -> Prob mit dialmodus auto

Hallo Liste, habe gerade ein neues SuSE 7.2 installiert, habe schon öfter SuSE 7.0 als I-Gateway für mein privates Netzwerklein installiert... Dort konnte ich das Problem, dass der erste Verbindungsaufbau von einem Client schiefläuft beheben, bei 7.2 nicht mehr.... Kann jemand weiterhelfen?
