Hallo Freunde, ich versuche schon seit einer guten Woche CAPI4Hylafax auf einer SuSE 8.0 zum laufen zu bringen. Leider ohne Erfolg. CAPI selber habe ich laut SDB installiert; es funktioniert. Dann habe ich die aktuellen Pakete von capi4hylfax und hylafax installiert. Soweit alles dufte... Nur scheitere ich bei faxsetup und faxaddmodem. Was muß ich denn hier eintragen? Kann mir bitte jemand weiterhelfen?! Vielen Dank!!! -- Walze.

Probleme mit SuSE 8.1 + AVM B1 + capifax

Morgen, hatte bereits 2 mal einen kompletten Absturz des Servers (Nachts, da kommen die meisten Faxe). Desweiteren nimmt der Rechner nicht alle Faxe an, dann steht im Log audio, manchmal sind es wirklich "deppen ;-)" die mit dem Telefon das Fax anrufen, jedoch hatte ich auch den Fall das es wirklich ein Fax war. Suse 8.1 prof. Fax-Mail als pdf- Fehler

Hallo, nun habe ich es geschafft ,das mir Hylafax ne Mail mit nen .pdf schickt ,welches das Fax sein sollte. Nur lässt sich die Datei nicht öffnen ,weil die irgendwie "kaputt" ist. Kennt jemand das Problem?Wie kann man das beheben? Danke für jeden Tipp, Axel

Hallo Freunde, ich habe die aktuellen Pakete für capi4hylfax und hylafax aus Karstens Verzeichnis geholt und installiert... Anschließend habe ich /var/spool/fax/etc/config.faxCAPI angepaßt und faxsetup laufen gelassen? Kiste reagiert nicht mehr auf Tastatur

Hallo, ich weiß dies ist die falsche Liste aber vielleicht könnt Ihr mir trotzdem helfen. Und zwar geht nach ca 4-5 Minuten keine Tasteneingabe (wenn ich in Dieser Zeit nichts dran mache) auf der Konsole mehr d.h. es reagiert auf garnichts mehr. Ich muß das Notebook ausschalten und neu starten. Im Bios ist alles deaktiviert was einen Standby oder HDD-Standby auslösen könnte. Woran liegt dies? Notebook Sony Vario PCG-F801A mit SuSE 7.3 Danke für eure Hilfe! Gruß Roland

SUSE 8.1 Online Update FritzCard PCMCIA - ISDN funktioniert nicht mehr.

Guten Morgen, bei mir tritt genau das Problem auf, welches unter http://lists.suse.com/archive/suse-isdn/2002-Nov/0302.html beschrieben ist. Direkt nach der Installation der Distribution funktionierte der Internetzugriff einwandfrei. Nach dem Einspielen des Online Update treten genau die Probleme auf, die in obigem Beitrag beschrieben sind. Leider funktioniert die vorgeschlagene Lösung nicht, lediglich die bereitgestellte avm.conf nach /etc/pcmcia zu kopieren. Wenn ich das durchführe und danach SuSEconfig -- module isdn eingebe, enthält die Datei avm.conf erneut wieder 0 Bytes. Gruss Alexander

moin, > hi, > auf meinem router laeuft SuSE 7.2 mit kernel 2.4.16 und ich habe das > altbekannte problem mit gmx, postbank, ..... . nach meinen erfahrungen bringt es wenig, an den einstellungen der mtu-parameter was zu aendern. abhilfe schafft hier eine option in iptables (wird von der suse-firewall verwendet). stichwort ip mangle mehr dazu hier: http://www.hgfelger.de/mss/mss-clamp damit kuemmert sich iptables neben den ganzen filteraufgaben auch gleich um die richtige paketgroesse. ich hab iptables von der homepage www.netfiler.org genommen, erfordert zwar etwas mehr arbeit als fertige scripte zu nehmen, aber man lernt dabei einfach mehr. in der c't gabs auch bereits mehrere artikel zum thema paketfilter mit iptables. hth wolfgang
