Hallo ISDNler,
ich habe auf meinem Pentium III/1 GHz- System mit ELSA
Microlink PCI ISDN-Karte, das bislang unter SuSE 7.2
Professional, Kernel 2.4.10, lief, eine komplette
_Neuinstallation_ auf SuSE 8.0 durchgeführt und mich dabei an
die Vorgaben der automatischen Hardwareerkennung gehalten.
Unter dem neuen System bekomme ich aber keine ISDN-
Verbindung. Der Fehler äußert sich so:
Die automatische HW-Erkennung von YaST2 "diagnostizierte"
anstelle der Microlink PCI eine "Quickstep 1000", ebenfalls
von ELSA. Dann suchte ich manuell die richtige Karte heraus,
und führte den Treibertest durch, der auch positiv verlief.
Nach dem Speichern wurde dann allerdings wieder die
Quickstep 1000 angezeigt.
An und Pfirsich ist die Microlink ja verträglich, und unter
7.2 hatte ich auch keine Probleme.
Für den Internetzugang verwende ich, wie schon in der
Vorgängerversion, kinternet.
Beim Anklicken des Steckersymbols erfolgt keine sichtbare
Reaktion, und alle Ping-Versuche nach draußen
bleiben negativ. "Protokoll ansehen" meldet aber eine
positive Verbindungsaufnahme.
Die Kontextmenüpunkte "Einwahl", "Auflegen", "Start" sind
nicht aktivierbar.
Hat schon mal jemand etwas ähnliches erlebt oder sonst eine
Idee, woran das liegen könnte?
