[opensuse] Printing issue

System: Opensuse 13.1 kde 4._ Printer: Brother MFCJ450DW I open a spreadsheet in LO calc, set the page to landscape, set printer to landscape, click on print, &*^%$!! printer prints portrait. Print preview shows landscape, everything looks ok. So, what am I missing? Pinter configuration error There is a missing print filter for printer 'cp1510n_ps' Sometimes when I print something I get that helpful message shown above, as a popup in XFCE. How do I find what is that missing filter? There is nothing in the "warn" log. [opensuse] [UPDATE] Problem - Leap 4.2 see only dummy sound devices

Hi ! Small update from my previous post. After executing sudo usermod -a -G audio $USER KDE/Plasma can see audio devices. However: 1) Still no sound. 2) At random intervals output devices are switching "as default" because of higher priority. *** previous post *** After upgrade from SuSE 13.2 to Leap 42.2 I've got a problem which so far I'm was unable to solve by means of all found tricks, incl. reinstallation of RPMs, reset of pulseaudio settings (as root -> rm -r ~/.config/pulse* ; as user -> pulseaudio -k) Hardware is Intel Q6600 quad core, Gigabyte mainboard with Intel chipset. Yast sees 3 audio interfaces, configures them successfully, but NO sound from Intel 82801I Analog output during playback. However, test sound from Yast can be heard. HDMI audio is not used, and ESI Juli VT1720/24 [Envy24PT/HT] is only deployed under Windows for audio signal analysis. KDE (and MATE) sees NO interfaces apart from "Dummy output". Problem is very similar described here. https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Intel-HDA_sound_problems I have removed Yast entries and added to /etc/modpobe.d/50-sound.conf this: options snd-hda-intel index=0 model=auto vid=8086 pid=293e After reboot, no change. How to fix this problem? Hello, I'm on the way of moving a large part of my site web (around 200 Go) The new host provider can do it for me, but needs credentials I usually access these data as root... * how can I set sudo (or any other system) to allow password ssh connection (rsync) only to the data folder (htdocs/piwigo/galleries) * on the host, I'm only an user. [opensuse] Leap 42.2 no audio device, but audio works

Hi!, Since my update to 42.2, I've lost the audio device on KDE but the audio works (Youtube playback on Chrome), the annoying thing is I cannot control volume because KDE thinks there's no audio device. [opensuse] Changing network settings with YaST over SSH

I tried to change an openSUSE Leap 42.1 server from static IP to DHCP using YaST over SSH and in text mode. To make it short, this doesn't work. The Server is offline now. The last messages from YaST in the SSH session: x Write device configuration x Write network configuration x Write routing configuration x Write hostname and DNS configuration x Set up network services x Write firewall settings => Activate network services - Update configuration How I can do this the right way next time? (I doubt, that YaST stopped the network setup in step "Activate network services" because the SSH session was interrupted. But I had run YaST in TMUX.)
