[opensuse] Multi monitor support

Hi!, I'm evaluating a multi monitor setup for a NOC, what's the maximun monitors anyone have tested on Leap 42.2 (above 2)?. I was hoping to use two NVS 810 GPUs with Nvidia Mosaic, but apparently Mosaic only supports 4 monitors on Linux. The backup plan would be to have all the monitors as standalone and manage them with multimonitor support from Xorg/KDE. [opensuse] Other problems with 42.2

I've come across a couple of other problems with 42. One, the list of open windows, either the horizontal row of thumbnails or vertical list will open and I can't clear it. The other is clicking on the task bar has no effect. Using: openSUSE leap 42.2 on ext4. [opensuse] postfix config on leap422 ??

I was preparing a new postfix instance, changing a few things in main.cf, when I was done, I did "systemctl start postfix", and all of my changes were overwritten and a bunch of crud added. What's going on?? I note that 'sash' is dynamically linked, even though the manpage says: Sash should obviously be linked statically, otherwise its purpose is lost. ---- I seem to remember an alternate libc implementation that can allow static linking. It is a recovery shell -- as such, it wouldn't try to contact any daemons or network services. [opensuse] GRRR - What re-enabled 'grep' results highlight after the last updates?

Damnit, I update and now the stupid grep highlight is re-enabled on my system. (leap 42.2). How do I turn it off again? In the past it was controlled by disabling /etc/profile.d/alias.bash That file doesn't exist on my system. Where is the setting hidden now? I want to nuke it, I don't ever want to see the moronic Las Vegas style lights on konsole again after grep. How do I shoot this dog in the head? (sorry Beagle humor) -- David C. For many years, I've been using Alt-F2 & # to call up man pages (or ## for info), but that seems to no longer work. I find it now opens some PDF, which has nothing to do with what I want. I recall there's a setting somewhere for KRunner to configure what runs. However, I can't seem to find it.
