Hi, For those using darktable package from either official openSUSE repos or factory, or from graphics repos, roughly a month ago, I have announced that the thumbnail compression will be removed. Now thanks to packman this option is back and all you have to is use the Multimedia repo and select darktable from packman. This version has the squish library enabled meaning thumbnails are compressed and smaller. [opensuse] Looking for TV viewer programs in Opensuse 12.3

Hello, Currently run 12.1 and wish to update to 12.3. Checked some of the rpms on the cdrom (under suse/i586) and cannot find xawtv (which I currently use) or any other rpm names that hint to being a program for watching TV. If I do update could I include xawtv.rpm for version 12.1? Thanks for any help in figuring out what to do. I was getting them while running fsck on an ext3 filesystem with errors. I got fsck to complete by booting from a 32 bit rescue disk and running fsck from that. Hi all, during a minimalistic 12.3 installation, i get (after initial boot): "calling YaST mudule inst_suseconfig has failed etc etc etc" Any idea which RPM is missing? [opensuse] How to get rid of (?) Titles when seeing several running apps

Please see my tagline (below) for some details of my system. I apologise if you don't understand what I am asking in the Subject Heading as I don't know the correct terminology to use but this is what I am asking for help about. When I have several apps running and push the cursor into the topmost lefthand corner of the monitor screen I get all the apps displayed each in a mini "window". By clicking on any one that apps is then displayed in full screen and I can continue to use it. (There has to be a name for this situation but I don't know what KDE used to describe this.) When the apps are displayed in the mini "windows" each app has a TITLE - a black block with white text - displayed through the middle of "window" with the TITLE describing which app is being run in a "window". This TITLE is annoying for two reasons: the first is that I watch TV programs and the TITLE covers a portion of the middle of the TV screen, and secondly the TITLE is a rally useless because I, at least, know what apps are running at any one time. Does anybody know, please, how to eliminate this TITLE being superimposed on each and every "window"?
