Alternative to lm_sensors?

Hi, I've grown weary waiting for my mainboard's sensor chip to get support in lm_sensors (from <http://secure.netroedge.com/~lm78/newdrivers.html>: "A driver has been requested, will be developped [sic] upon donation of a board.") Is there any alternative to lm_sensors that does not leave us at the whims of board donors and / or the proclivities of the lm_sensor developer(s)? The board I have is an Intel D865PERL and the sensor chip is a National PC87372 or PC87373 (I no longer recall which, but they're apparently similar chips and are grouped together in the requested sensor chip driver status table). GnuPG Agent troubles

I just installed KGpg on Suse9.2 and now I am getting this error message on startup- The use of GnuPG Agent is enabled in GnuPG's configuration file (/home/marc/.gnupg/gpg.conf). However, the agent does not seem to be running. This could result in problems with signing/decryption. Please disable GnuPG Agent from KGpg settings, or fix the agent. Soooo. OK, being that I am a dumb naive simple user who can't make heads or tails out of this message (boy do I wish programs and error messages were designed to guide us poor users to a solution, not just tell us "Sorry something is wrong" or "I cant do that"), anyone want to tell me what to do and how? ;-) Thanks... Marc.... P.S. I did take a look at the gpg.conf file and the comments in it can only be understood by the designers I think.... No help there either.... P.P.S I hope the guy who wrote this error message isn't seriously asking/expecting us poor users to "fix the agent"!!! Gulp!!

Suse 9.2 Java Issues? Random crashes..

Is anybody else getting random crashes from Java programs? Eclipse for example crashes randomly all the time, and so does Azureus. No other programs do this, just Java based programs. Strange thing though, they work fine under Gnome, but not KDE. Any ideas? Michael

USB flash drive causes SuSE to hang

embedding java applets in OpenOffice
