Where did kdegraphics3-3.3.0-8 go?

I've tried updating my laptop to the latest kde under SuSE 9.1, but can't seem to find the kdegraphics3-3.3.0-8 rpm. Anyone know where it is? The version for 3.2 is installed and won't go away. -- Stephen If your desktop gets out of control easily, you probably have too much stuff on it that doesn't need to be there. email services frustration

I'm getting a SuSE 9.1 installation ready to be used as a mail server for a client. I've done the complete 9.1 installation and update. I have postfix running, and it can send mail to my regular mail accounts. I'm trying to get pop & imap services running and am getting nowhere. I have all varieties of pop & imap up, and the proper ports are listening on the server. However, I can retrieve mail neither from a networked workstation or even locally on the machine itself. I'm using regular linux user accounts (no virtual). I've tried various password authentication types in case there were some encryption running that I wasn't aware of. I've reset my password to be sure I know what it is. Nothing seems to help here. Ideas? Rob

bootsplash on suse 9.1

Hi Need some help please, I have installed suse 9.1 with bootsplash module, and would like to change my bootsplash , is there any document available for this please, I have checked bootsplash.org etc and haven't found anything for suse 9.1 I have done the normal processes and it doesn't seem to work e.g 1) unzip or untar theme in /etc/bootsplash/themes 2) edit /etc/sysconfig/bootsplash 3) run mkinitrd 4) run lilo 5) reboot a detailed doc on how to do this on suse 9.1 would be greatly appreciated regards

Hi folks .. subversion problems

We were using subversion version 1.06 fine with no problems. I saw updated version of the RPMS for SuSE become available and upgraded to version 1.08. I noticed that with version 1.08, our RapidSVN and TortoiseSVN clients running Windows break. Basically they both give timeout errors. However, the subversion repository can be browsed fine with a web browser with no problems. Since svn clients such as RapidSVN and TortoiseSVN are needed here, I had no choice but to back out of the subversion 1.08 upgrade. I could not located 1.06 RPMs anywhere but found my copy of the 1.05 RPMS. Installing subversion 1.05 RPMS seems has gotten us working for now. This leads me with two questions, is anyone else out there able to successfully use svn clients such as Tortoise svn or RapidSVN to browse subversion repositories while running subversion 1.08 on SuSE (with apache2)? Also, does anyone know where I can get my hands on subversion 1.06 RPMS for SuSE? HP deskjet400 problem in suse 9.0

Hi all, has anyone got a deskjet 400 to work with suse 9.0? I've tried using CUPS and plain old lpd (with which it used to work under suse 8.1), but get no joy. When I first boot the system the line feed goes, and it goes again when I try the test printing during configuration in Yast when I hit the 'stop' button as nothing happens with the print command. Does anyone know an easy way to get my "back" and "forward" buttons on my intellimouse wheel optical usb mouse working? I've tried IM wheel in the past but haven't had much luck with it.
