[SLE] Spam Mail

Hi there, I am using SuSE6.4/2/.2.14 (INTEL) and 2.2.16 (on others) and sendmail as my mail transport. Lately I have been receiving a number of spam mails with no RETURN PATH (<>) Has anyone figured out how to configure sendmail using any the standard /etc/mail files access or deny or genericstable or whatever to reject ALL such messages no matter who send them? Its probably very simple but I just seem to have a mental block!!! (Or maybe its all this lovely Aussie Wine...) Thanks in advance. [SLE] UAE (Amiga Emulator) and serial ports

I have an application running on an amiga being a front end to a mainframe. The app uses the serial port for communications with the mainframe. We recently got that app to work on the WINDOZE version of UAE. That's not good enough for me. I want to run it using the linux version that came with my SuSE 6.4. I've got the app running on the linux version but I can't seem to get the serial port to talk to the mainframe. The mainframe's serial support is very smart in that it will auto config to what ever baud and such the other end is using. The app on the UAE side just send out packets(pings) the mainframe until the mainframe is done auto configuring and sends back an ack packet. I can't get the linux UAE side to send anything out the serial port. A scope has been used to verify that nothing comes out the serial port on the linux UAE. Does anyone know the TRICK to get the serial support in UAE to do something. I've posted this question to the UAE discussion board and got no response. That list sure is a stuffy list. If it ain't a game they don't care.. Has anyone out there used UAE with serial port functionality? HEP ME.... Thanks.. [SLE] java Performance jdk1.1.7 versus jdk1.2.2?

While installing festival I decided to upgrade my SuSE-6.4 java installation to use jdk1.2.2, but I have heard that jdk1.2.2rc2 performance was horrible and I wondered if j2sdk-1.2.2-FCS has fixed this problem or not. Any heavy java users who have upgraded have an opinion? Redhat puts libtermcap.so.2.0.8 in /lib/ and has a libtermcap.so link to it in /usr/lib/ and does not have a /usr/lib/termcap/ directory at all. I have been using SuSE for awhile (since 5.0), and consistently it shows up in the ftp archives after the US version is distributed. Is there any program I can compress my root partition with so if I frag my system I can restore it? I know there are tape backups done as cron jobs but I want to do it as cheaply as possible.
