If after changing /etc/sendmail.cf it does not work, you may need to change the rule inside of /etc/sendmail.cf. ok i took michaels XF86Config ( thanks Michael ) and then i edited it slightly then i for some reason just type XFree86. Post what is in /etc/hosts, and resolv files. There should be "localhost" but not "localhost.com". Hi, Bandwidth ;) My opinion is a bad RTL8139. I used that same card on my system for quite some time, and experienced hard locks. Once I went to 3Com, and better, Linksys, the locks stopped. As for the adsl problem. Do you have the dhcpd patch? Also, netscape 4.73 has problems. I use 4.75 and the netscape locks are gone. One last suggestion. When your isp hoses you up, try #/sbin/init.d dhclient restart #/sbin/init.d nscd restart This may help. [SLE] XFree4.0.1 and Yast

Hi, XFree 4.0.1 is available to download from the SuSE ftp site. Does anyone know if it is possible to just upgrade using YAST1. The reason I ask is that the directory containing 4.0.1 has a README which indicates taking a different route. I have my Linux Suse 6.2 working. I am training to programming with C++, but I cant program under X because I have not found how to write the alt+123 and alt+125 chars under X. How can I write them? Under bash I can do that using the alt+123, alt+125 keys. These seem ok. What is HOST, and FROM_HEADER in /etc/rc.config? Did you change /etc/mail/genericstable and virtusertable? hostname -f should be mynetmax.net.
