[SLE] sleeping mode?

hi list! As a old user of windows(sorry i need to say that word),so could I set windows in sleeping mode,after 10 minutes,if I don't use the computer.Then it also save energy,I think. Is it possible in Suse 6.3?? [SLE] yast prob... more info..

Still can't fix my yast problem... Here's some more about it: I took the hard drive out of the machine and put it inside another, and yast runs just fine. When I put it back in the original machine I get the same problem: yast comes up as a blank screen that I can only ctrl-c out of. I'm guessing it's something with that specific machine, but I can't think what it could possibly be... Hi; It's easy. I learned it from the internet. First, create a log file for scanlogd under /var/log, say: /var/log/alert. Next, open /etc/syslog.conf and add this line: daemon.alert /var/log/alert. If your system doesn't have any security you can test it with nmap. Another easy way: You can track port-scans from /var/log/messages. There seems to be some brokenness in the current KDE on SuSE 6.3 - I had it manically opening several kvt sessions & OSS mixer every time I started KDE, despite shutting them down. [SLE] __setfpucw() - which library?

OK, I give up. Which library is the function __setfpucw in? The man page does not say. Running strings on libc.a shows that its name occurs in that library, and 'ar t libc.a' shows that it contains a module named setfpucw.o. But when I try to call the function, I get an unresolved reference error in the linking stage. BTW, I am trying to change the fpu from 80 bit mode to 64 bit mode. I wrote a wrapper routine to call _setfpucw from a fortran program. I get the same error when I try to explicitly link with libc.a from g77, and when I call the wrapper from a c main function and compile with gcc.
