[SuSE Linux] how to connect a second PC as a terminal

Hi, I have 2 PC's, both running SuSE-6.0 and having mutual access via NFS. I would like the second PC (the smaller one) to behave as an X-terminal to the first one. How do I do that? Using telnet would be a possibility, but then I need two login sessions, one into the second PC, and then with telnet to the first. Hello! How can I run programs (like tkRPM) as root? When I log in as a simple user, and "su" in xterm, it is not working (I give the "cannot connect to :0:0", or similar, I don't remember exactly). It is important for me, because I don't like log in as root. [SuSE Linux] Primary Partition Not Found at Boot

Hi all, I'm setting up a web server at work and when I boot off the hard drive, I get a message "No primary partitions found. Insert boot disk." The boot disk works fine and fdisk says my hard drives are as so: /dev/hda1 Linux swap /dev/hda2 Linux native /dev/hdb1 Linux native I'm using SuSE 6.0 (waiting anxiously for 6.1 ;-) ), a couple of Western Digital Caviar drives, and a piece of s**t MSI motherboard. Any ideas about what might be causing this behavior? Hi, I actually phoned around some of the places advertising Linux, (SuSE & RH), prior to buying my first copy. Most places were very helpful, but I got better response from John Winters of 'The Linux Emporium'. He asked about my computers configuration, my own skills at hardware and software problems, then recommended which distro. he thought would be easier for me to get installed and running on my PC. I think he was also mentioned in one of the articles in 'Personnel Computer World'. [SuSE Linux] Using route Was:Ethernet problem

First off thanks to everyone for helping me out :-) All I need to know now is how to add the networks at startup so i don't have to type 'route add -net 192.168.0.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 dev eth0' after every reboot.
