Don't install things your way, because that breaks things. YaST does not crash. You have done something to it. Alternatively, do: zypper install MozillaThunderbird Second. There is nothing wrong with Thunderbird, and all versions behave the same. So, you must install Thunderbird with YaST or zypper, and then remove the data directory I told you, before starting Thunderbird. That will make it start from scratch. It looks like there is a version of T/Bird now for 15.3: https://opensuse.pkgs.org/15.3/mozilla-x86_64/MozillaThunderbird-91.3.2-lp1… but I can't get to a place where it will install. Brain fog, I guess. Please help! (Have rm'd the old T'Bird and with luck it's gone.) If I can get it working again you won't have to read email from this awful system! Thanx--doug
