If I run cdrecod -scanbus as root, I don't have those warnings. How can I get correct (full) permissions for 'user'? [opensuse] Automounting after bringing network up

Hello, I have a Leap 42.2 station and need to have a network share mounted. I tried to add a curlftpfs line to /etc/fstab, only to get emergency mode instead of GUI. After removing plymouthd that was not really at fault (but for some reason sent SIGRTMIN+21 and sometimes dumped core, so I thought it was at fault), I realized that the problem was the mount. The network is not up at the time /etc/fstab is processed. [opensuse] firefox video issues?

I've noticed the last 2-3 weeks or so, when I'm trying to watch a video, I am seeing many many Something Went Wrong We are having trouble playing this video. To watch the video, please update your browser. I am running Leap 42.2 with packman repo enabled and am up to date. Even in Google-Chrome-Stable I am seeing similar things. [opensuse] touchpad fault

I just submitted a bug report on my touchpad not working on the new install, https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1043969. If anyone has any suggestions on how to do a workaround, it would be most welcome! ------------------ On new Dell Inspiron 15 5576, the touchpad stops working a few seconds after reaching the display manager. In fact, what I have figured out is, that on reboot, if I use the mouse and don't touch the touchpad, it will work. Once I use the touchpad, it lasts about 3 seconds and then stops working. [opensuse] no wireless in new laptop

My old laptop broke, failed motherboard... so had to purchase a new one... Here I am with a Dell Inspiron 15 5576... I have installed leap 42.2, going with gnome for the time being... but, cannot get wireless card to work, and as of now I don't have an ethernet cable to connect it directly to the router. The kernel I am using is the one that came with the leap 42.2 install dvd. [opensuse] NetworkManager-wait-online.service (9.486s)

The service NetworkManager-wait-online.service takes 9.486s, which more than doubles my boot time. Network target can not start until that wait-on-line completes. Why does this take so long. The machine is connected via cat5 to a gigabit network. I had VB working until a kernel update sometime ago. Over the weekend, I tried getting VB to work by re-installing.
