[opensuse] Update FireFox 49.5 -> 52.2, file dialogs are horrible, how to get FF49 dialogs back?

All, I updated to firefoxe 52.5esr from 49.5esr. One thing that is just totally repugnant is the file->open dialog. It is per-se unusable. How do I get the file->open dialog from 49.5 back? -- or at least get this damn thing to sort the folders first like every other sane file->open dialog does. I have folders with 20 or so directories and 1400+ files in them and trying to navigate where you have to scroll through 1200 files just to get to the 'tst' directory is unacceptable. Is there some setting that controls this? Right now this thing is unnavigable with scores of .zip files mixed with directories mixed with files in an unholy mess. Why when I first scroll down with the mouse are many of the icons missing? Help.... (screenshot of the dialog I see at, http://paste.opensuse.org/5398449) -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.

If you go to the opensuse package search at https://software.opensuse.org/search and then download a package to your downloads folder, how do you import a key in order to make it a trusted package before installation? [opensuse] file system usage?

Hello: Shortly: I have to identical partitions I formatted with the same tool. I copied everything from one partition to the other still the file system usage is different. Why? Longer version: I have two extended partitions on the same hard disks. They have identical sizes and block numbers. fdisk report is: Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System /dev/sdc7 399155791 457744782 29294496 83 Linux /dev/sdc8 457744846 516333837 29294496 83 Linux I formatted both partitions as ext4 using Leap 42.2 yast2 partition tool with its default options. I installed Leap 42.2 onto partition 7. Partition 6 also has Leap 42.2 installed earlier. I booted part6 Leap 42.2, mounted partitions 7 and 8 (as /mnt1 and /mnt2) and rsynced everything from partition 7 to 8: rsync -a /mnt1/ /mnt2 Interestingly the file systems usage is not the same for the two partitions (part7 is mnt1, part8 is mnt2): df -h Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on /dev/sdc7 28G 6.1G 21G 24% /mnt1 /dev/sdc8 28G 6.7G 20G 26% /mnt2 Why is this difference? [opensuse] Automounting after bringing network up

Hello, I have a Leap 42.2 station and need to have a network share mounted. I tried to add a curlftpfs line to /etc/fstab, only to get emergency mode instead of GUI. After removing plymouthd that was not really at fault (but for some reason sent SIGRTMIN+21 and sometimes dumped core, so I thought it was at fault), I realized that the problem was the mount. The network is not up at the time /etc/fstab is processed. I've noticed the last 2-3 weeks or so, when I'm trying to watch a video, I am seeing many many Something Went Wrong We are having trouble playing this video. To watch the video, please update your browser. I am running Leap 42.2 with packman repo enabled and am up to date. Even in Google-Chrome-Stable I am seeing similar things. [opensuse] touchpad fault

I just submitted a bug report on my touchpad not working on the new install, https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1043969. If anyone has any suggestions on how to do a workaround, it would be most welcome! ------------------ On new Dell Inspiron 15 5576, the touchpad stops working a few seconds after reaching the display manager. In fact, what I have figured out is, that on reboot, if I use the mouse and don't touch the touchpad, it will work. Once I use the touchpad, it lasts about 3 seconds and then stops working.
