[opensuse] Where are the Overman79 packages?

Hi People! I tried to install the bumblebee system to my laptop, wha worked without any problem in the past. I have followed the instruction from smithfarm the brain: http://smithfarm-thebrain.blogspot.co.at/2013/10/opensuse-131-nvidia-optimu… But when i try to install the packages: zypper in dkms dkms-nvidia dkms-bbswitch bumblebee primus x11-video-nvidia the packages are not found in the repo. Does anyone know where the packages have gone? Or is there an alternative repo to install the stuff with regard to bumblebee? My system: Opensuse 13.1 X86_64 Kernel 3.11

Greetings, Am trying to deploy an openSUSE 13.1 GC Instance but haven't had much luck. First, GC by default provides the SLES 11 SP3 which am not interested in and secondly, am not in the mood to whip up my own custom image using virtual box (because I will have to eventually upload the damn thing -- and internet ain't cheep down here in Uganda). Any ideas on how I have 13.1 on the Google Compute platform? -- - Phillip. TL;DR In short, why does trying to mount a device in Dolphin request my root password when I've set this device to be mountable by a user in the fstab? The fstab entry reads as follows: UUID=b6b754d1-243c-45f4-99f1-ff89c43a4fee /mnt/backup1 ext4 user,noauto,acl,user_xattr,nofail 0 0 I tried, as root, adjusting the permissions of the folder /backup1 to belong to the user, but no joy. I wanted to use a spare HD for backups, and thought I'd try 'Kup' for doing so (http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/Kup+Backup+System?content=147465) I slotted the HD into my laptop's modular bay and clicked on its icon that appears in Dolphin, entering the root password even though I don't see why I should have to. Then, having set up a versioned backup with /mnt/backup1 as a filesystem destination path, the Kup system tray icon forever says 'Backup destination unavailable'. I thought of looking at KDE's policies settings, but in the Control Center the two policy / actions modules that I always used to have in previous installations of openSUSE are no longer there. (My only attempts to change anything in there previously were fruitless anyway because it just ignored every policy I implemented), but regardless, I'm not sure why it's disappeared entirely. Peter openSUSE 13.1 64-bit, KDE 4.11 More info: I have a Dell laptop with a modular bay normally occupied by a DVD drive, but I bought a hard drive caddy to interchange in this bay, into which I put my old SATA HDD. I also have a docking station with such a modular bay. An oddity there is that although when sticking the DVD drive in it is accessible, if I swap in the HD it doesn't get automatically recognised on the desktop (KDE). This could be because the docking station is much older than the laptop, so maybe the SATA connection in there isn't hot swappable, but it's not really important so long as the bay on the laptop works properly. [opensuse] Can't run VirtualBox

I downloaded and installed the openSUSE VirtualBox RPM from virtualbox.org. While it installs OK and I can install a virtual machine, when I try to run the VM it fails. I have tried installing DKMS and also virtualbox-guest & host modules, along with X11 drivers. I have included the log below. [opensuse] Partitioner has a problem with my plans

On the computer of my wife which runs Windows 7, I have sliced of three partitions. /, 10 GB, home 4 GB and a small swap. I left 60 GB for her Windows. As this Windows does not expand due to the nature of her use I planned to get a bigger slice of the hard disk. I reduced the 60 GB to 50 GB and was planning to include this new partition into a happy Linux use. The information I get if I want to add this partition I get the Info that it is not possible to create a partition on sda. A resize is only possible on sda1, the Windows partition. Hi all, Before getting any comments, let me state that i'm very happy that with IPv6 most people do not need the masquerade their local IP addressen any more. However, as an admin, it is sometimes very handy to be able to do network and/or port translation. So while keeping un-modified clients, you can divert them (temporarily) to another process. With iptables this can easily achieved with a DNAT. How can i do likewise with ip6tables?
