[opensuse] compatible graphic tablets

Hi, I am planning on getting a graphic tablet for drawing and such, and after looking around on the net, seem to be finding only conflicting information on device compatibility with opensuse 10.3. I am after a 6"x9" or there abouts. The Wacom tablets seem well supported, but different people seem to report the new Wacom Bamboo series don't work with the current kernel. Other devices seem to be mostly UC-Logic chips, and while there is plenty of info for ubuntu (again, mostly contradictory regarding operation status) there is little about opensuse. The WizardPen driver seems to work for some, but again newer kernels seem to present problems. If you have a tablet working under 10.3, could you please let me know the brand and model, what driver it uses, and any difficulties in setup. Also any particular comments on usability with opensuse (buttons, pressure sensitivity etc) would also be helpful. [opensuse] Postfix & authenticated relay

Hi, I'm running Suse 10.3. I'm trying to set up Postfix to allow users to send mail from the Internet through my mailserver if they are authenticated. I have most things set up OK I think, except for one thing, but I don't know were to look for it. The fact is pam tries to authenticate the user via mysql, but in the query it omits the domain from the mail-address. Where can I configure this ? I installed pam_mysql from the buildservice, but this did complain about some dependencies. As far as I could see all was installed, so I forced pam-mysql to be installed. Maybe that is the problem ? In /etc/pam.d this is smtp : #%PAM-1.0 auth required pam_mysql.so user=xxx passwd=yyy db=postfix table=mailbox usercolumn=username passwdcolumn=password crypt=1 account required pam_permit.so In the README in /usr/doc/packages/pam_mysql I read : For instance, if you want to use it in conjunction with Postfix, the SASL configuration file "smtpd.conf", which is put in the Cyrus-SASL's plugin directory (or the location included in the SASL_PATH environment variable), would look like the following: pwcheck_method: auxprop mech_list: plain login cram-md5 digest-md5 sql_engine: mysql sql_database: sys sql_user: someuser sql_passwd: fubar sql_select: SELECT password FROM users WHERE name='%u' and domain='%r'; But I don't find that smtpd.conf. I hope I made myself clear, so any suggestions ? [opensuse] openSUSE 11 Video and Network problems

Hey, I have a Sis190 which works realy fine in openSUSE 10.3. Today I installed the openSUSE 11 RC1 and the wired network(internet) don´t works. I tried to put manual routes, put nameservers on /etc/resolv.conf... the internet don´t works, only a local traffic. I see some errors on ifconfig, so strange. I never had this kind of error on openSUSE 10.3. Finally, the armagedon: With network not working, my video sis 671/771 doens´t work. On openSUSE 10.3 I just copy the sis 2D drivers to correct directory, change the xorg.conf file and works! Someone have this problem? I want to put my notebook on trash after this problems and Sis chipset. PS: Finally openSUSE 11 RC1 solved the problem with booting stops. Now openSUSE boot without problems, without internet, with worst fbdev video driver. PS2: On Another OS Internet works.
