The 'out of memory' error was fixed after rebooting, although I noticed the memory used creeping up again. What syntax for ps will show which app' or process is using most of the RAM? [opensuse] Broadcom Wireless Chip

I have a HP laptop, model dv5000. I cannot get the wireless chip, which is manufactured by HP, to work using ndiswrapper or the opensource drivers. [opensuse] accessing usb devices

I am having problems accessing usb devices in suse 10.3. I plug in the usb device, watch the lights flash, but I get an error message on the screen. I have installed OpenSuse 10.3 and my HP Photosmart 8450 refuses to print. I have spent a lot of time trying to get it to work, but without sucess. Could someone please help me to solve this problem. hi, one hosting company offers for dedicated server ubuntu 7.04 or ubuntu 7.10 or openSuse 10.2 or openSuse 10.3. [opensuse] Remapping Ctrl+Alt+Del in Virtual Machine Manager

Hi all, Wow. Been a long time since I've used Linux (mostly a FreeBSD guy here, but OpenSUSE's Xen support is excellent). One question - when I open a VM in Virtual Machine Manager, how can I change the hotkey sequence? In other words, I want to send Ctrl+Alt+Del to a running Windows VM, but that just releases the cursor. Can I reprogram the hotkeys, and if so, how? Also - any way I can prevent Xen DomU from paging out VMs ever; or is this already automatically done? I've had that suspicion for awhile, but wasn't sure. After bad experiences in the past with Lexmark, they've been on my "not to buy list" which I see to it is disbursed to all clients, and others. The same for Canon and some others. The only 2 companies I'll deal with are HP and Epson. Printing is a "mess," at times with Linux. Either CUPS screws up or the drivers aren't good.....sometimes even with HP and Epson. Then, there's the problem of not having 64-bit drivers as THERE SHOULD BE for printers AND scanners. The only partially functioning Iscan driver for Epson is a good example. We're not ready for prime time yet. Fred -- A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
