[opensuse] Multiple accounts in KMail OR Integrating Thunderbird in Kontact

Hi List! I'm considering to move to KMail from Thunderbird, I played a bit with it, and after not-so-helpful googling decided to ask you. Can I add multiple accounts exactly in the way it works in Thunderbird (out of local folders folder, each one with separate inbox, sent, trash and unsent folders). I saw that I can make separate folders for accounts in the local folders folder and associate accounts with it, but that's not what I want(sent, ... etc) I really don't want all of them to go to one folder, and I also want to have Local Folders separately. AND/OR Can I integrate Thunderbird in Kontact? So instead of default KMail I will get Thunderbird embedded there? [opensuse] opensuse 10.3 on Asus G1S

This is a summary so far of what I have working and what I couldn't set up yet (in case it helps and in case somebody wants to help as well): Running opensuse 10.3 with gnome Partially Working: NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT - Downloaded nvidia driver 100.14.19 from nvidia site and followed the instructions. Cannot use 3D desktop features though. Intel 4965AGN Wireless - Working with wpa-psk but only with ssid broadcast enabled in the router. Bluetooth - Seems fine but haven't beeen able to test it with any device yet. Keyboard - works fine but haven't been able to set up some special FN keys that doesn't seem to return any value (like the fn to sleep, disable wireless, contrast, volume, etc.). Notepad FN keys work fine though. [opensuse] an unfamiliar new directory and files...

Hi All, Can anyone shed some light on the purpose for these new items in my home directory? I'm running 10.2 + GNOME (under '~/.wapi':) shared_data-linux-Linux-i686-308-10-0 shared_fileshare-linux-Linux-i686-36-10-0 I've Googled without success. I'm asking because GAIM lost my 'buddy' aliases and also appeared to have forgotten my AIM password around the same time that the directory and files in question were created. I just installed clamsmtp on my suse10.0, and when i run it, i got : clamsmtpd: couldn't bind to address: 10025: Address already in use how do i check what program is running on port 10025? [opensuse] Problem with Beta or Just Me?

I tried installing the beta (just downloaded this morning) on VMWare. It went through mostly okay, but then at the end, gave me a list of errors - unable to install xyz.rpm. For the most part, the RPM files were gnome, but several dozen were YaST rpm files. I then was unable to reboot the session after it told me. [opensuse] GA release of 10.3?

I just downloaded the lastest RC release and I'm installing it now. It came as a single "KDE" CD that causes lots of packages to be downloaded (3GB+ for me). So even if all the packages on the GA cd are good, this approach is going to cause massive package downloading during the install? Is that the way the GA cds/dvds are going to work? I hope not for everyone's sake. [opensuse] OpenOffice freezes the system

Hi all, since some days ago I have to create more documentation as part of my work but I'm experimenting something *very* annoying with OpenOffice, specially the first time it's launched although it might also happen (at random?) after the 2nd or 3rd run: the system completely freezes. Even the keyboard is 100% dead; the caps-lock or num-lock don't even work either, and the only way to get it back to life is by restarting it... so everything is lost and I must start over. These are the OpenOffice packages on my system now (the same applies for the one at home): --- martin@styx:~> rpm -qa | grep -i openoffice OpenOffice_org-2.2.1-43.1 OpenOffice_org-kde-2.2.1-43.1 OpenOffice_org-Quickstarter-1.0-514 --- This happens with all kind of document formats and for a nerd like me who (almost) uses the 20 desktops it's a good way to learn and use new bad words when everything disappears on this end... Anyway, I also noticed that the recent versions of OpenSuSE are rather more unstable (I'm a SuSE'r since version 5.3 IIRC)... this could be labeled just as a personal perception if I were using OpenSuSE in only one system but I have it installed in more than one "modern" system (i.e. dual-core CPU -both AMD and Intel- , xx GB of RAM, big SATA-2 hard disks, etc) at home and at work... Unfortunately I can't tell you a way to reproduce the problem so please bear with me... and therefore I wanted to ask here if someone has been experimenting such annoyances as well and what, if any, solutions can be applied to get rid of them.
