[opensuse] online update for 10.3. Problem?

Hello all, Some mirror are already open to download 10.3. But after doing a successfully install the update online are no possible, at the moment. :( It seems the rpm directory for updates is still empty, but no the repodata one. So my new opensuse 10.3 online update selected 4 patches to download and after click the button it suddenly finished the update. I checked the diretories and still no patch or rpm in it. Check http://download.opensuse.org/update/10.3/rpm Hope this will fixed soon. [opensuse] Unsolved bugs in openSUSE 10.3 GM!!!

Hello So, i´ve just installed GM 10.3 and i´m really disappointed. 1. Support for writting to internal ntfs partiton still doesn´t work.Bug 293429 wasn´t solved.Why? On http://en.opensuse.org/NTFS is written: "Installation of NTFS write support openSUSE 10.3 No need to do anything as it is integrated in openSUSE 10.3". But, this isn´t truth!!! And second problem is still with shuts down pc.Bug 299882 isn´t still solved. I believed that these bug will be solved in GM,but they aren´t. So, i didn´t expect this:-( What next?What can i do?How can i enable support for writting to ntfs? Hi All, I have a customer with SCO OpenServer 5.0.5 running PROGRESS 6.2 and THOROBRED BASIC. I would dearly love to port to opensuse 10.3. Has anyone had any experience (luck!!??) running SCO OpenServer binaries on opensuse? Any recommended web sites or wiki's with detailed instruction? Any help or advice would be much appreciated. [opensuse] Start, detect and kill java processes

I give up... I'm trying to start a java application to run in background, with the help of startproc, then I need to be able to detect and kill it later.. I can't kill all java processes (that would be simple), but only one single application. So, I start with; startproc -Lvu sven /usr/bin/java -jar /usr/local/diny/stats.jar --ui=console That works, and the process writes its info to /proc/xxx/ When I later use checkproc -vLk /usr/bin/java I only get code "7 Program is not running", but it is.. Verified by both the /proc/xxx files and a ps. Killproc does the same. [opensuse] Has anyone else had problem with EMACS after upgrades?

I'm running 10.2 and have a LOT of upgrade sites, all from needing them and finding the software I was looking for on the SuSE search site. I upgraded EMACS and have had nothing but grief since. Right now it won't display any file; I just get the *scratch* page and a warning at the bottom "Symbol's function definition is void: lazy-lock-mode." I also can't load any files. That leaves me with VI which I detest; please no flames, there are VI people and there are EMACS people. I found yet another new version today and installed it, resulting in the same problems. Any advice, help? Is the only option to turn off all the installation sources and reload it from the original disks? kmail --version Qt: 3.3.8 KDE: 3.5.7 "release 72" KMail: 1.9.6 (enterprise 20070904.708012) Hi, I cannot see any of my messages within Kmail (transferred over from openSUSE 10.2 box). Is there a way I can get these back without losing the mail that is there? I do however still get the "Description" on some of my mails..
