Dos box size in Dosemu

Hi, Can anyone tell me how to change the size of a DOS box when using xdos as supplied with SuSE 7.3 I am trying to get a POS application running. It is running well except the size of the window. There are no grab handles in the corners to extend it and there is nowhere to change the font size which one would normally do in an xterm All suggestions greatly appreciated Keith Gibbons, Ireland

Compiling kde 2.2.1 with sue 7.3 ( new version of autoconf )

Ok, so Im trying to recompile 2.2.1, however I am having this problem, whereby after ./configure diddy@pooter:~/download/kde/src/kdebase-2.2.1> make cd . && autoheader and it then takes ages before compiling. In the Suse Greeting prog, there is this message under "whats new" Because of a new version of autoconf, building of configure scripts may be problematic (most of all with KDE programs). To solve these problems you have to download the templates (the admin directory) of the KDE2.2 sources from the websites of KDE. anyone having this too ? dids

DSL & ethernet card

I am getting DSL sometime in the next 2 - 3 weeks, and I need to get an ethernet card in order to hook up the modem (external). Any advice on a good card to use w/ SuSE? Or is there much difference in cards? kernel configuration file

Hi, just one question: knowing that my machine is a PC, may I consider that the configuration file which maches my default kernel is /usr/src/linux-2.4.4.SuSE/arch/i386/defconfig ? (using SuSE Prof. 7.2) Olivier.

To answer my own post. There is something wrong with usbserial in 2.4.10 of SuSE. I have my visor working again by upgrading to 2.4.13 and it works as it did before. Anyone successfully using a Samsung ML6060 printer with Suse ?

I'm on the verge of buying a Samsung ML6060 laser printer. I can't see any reason why it won't work with Linux but I thought I'd better check it out for any gotchas before parting with my cash. So is anyone using one of these and if so, how are you getting on with it ? I have Suse 7.0 and 7.2 running on my systems. Cheers, Sean.

Some display mismatches according to several file format

Hello, Just few words to ask few questions... Actually, I've got SuSE 7,1 and 7.2 installed. With Lonqueror, when I display a PostScript File, the postscript viewer do not manage overprint colors. Tiff viewer, is unable to display correctly the TiFF in CMYK format. Any informations concerning those trouble ? Regards.
