[SLE] PERL trouble

Hello PERL guru's I really don't know a thing about PERL, but I have to use this program to update my IP number. You can view the source if you need to. When I downloaded this program, ant I want to run it (I made it executable), it generates the following error message: Can't locate HTTP/Request.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/5.00503/i586-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.00503 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/i586-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005 .) at /usr/local/sbin//yi-ipupdate line 14. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/local/sbin//yi-ipupdate line 14. I also tried perl yi-ipupdate but this gave the same error message. Thanks in advance -- We can defeat gravity. Thanks, but I know how to reboot, I was just asking a question about how it was possible for the Audio CD to be playing at all. Which question has been answered (twice). Zentara; We have looked at default permissions. It seems that when they FTP over a file to thier webserver the permissions are set to 640 or 660 or 750 depending on the type of file. What I was wondering was why, and then how that can be changed. I have looked in the HOWTO's, packages, and the rest of SuSE documentation. [SLE] Sender rejects true email address???

I am running SuSE linux 6.1 and sometimes I have the following error: This happens when sending mail from MS Outlook Express. What can cause this error and what is the solution? The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's e-mail address. The sender's e-mail address was 'bwalyal(a)mopani.com.zm'. Subject 'test', Account: 'bwalyal', Server: '194.130.158.34', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '451 <bwalyal(a)mopani.com.zm>... Sender domain must resolve', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 451, Error Number: 0x800CCC78 Thank you in advance. Guys, I have just configured a DHCP server (dhcpd) and it is working fine, how do I get it to start at boot time? Do I use boot.local or is that executed too soon, ie. before the NIC has been initialised. [SLE] Configuring a CD ROM writer

Hi all, I have two IDE cd rom on my computer one of them is a cd writer. The system sees both of them and assign /dev/hdc to the CD ROM reader and /dev/hdd to the CD ROM writer. I would like to burn some cds under Linux, can you point me to some useful reading or give me some tips? I seem to remember that I have to recompile the kernel with scsi support and then? What is this monster and what feeds it ? May I cat /dev/null it ? And what for should I keep it ? Not the least idea when it started. locate pacct does find anything but /var/account/pacct. [SLE] Why HP printer is shifting each line to the right?

Hello Linux folkz, I've got problem with printing at work. We use networked HP LajerJet 4050 printer. When I'm trying to print something from command prompt like lpr -Pprinter somefile - it is shifting each following line to the right by diagonal like this. blah blah blah (white space) blah blah blah (--------white space------) blah blah blah However when I'm printing from Star Office the same HP printer is printing OK. How should I correct this issue in the first case? Thank you in advance for any hints.
