Hello, just now, with 15.3, when I mount an SD card from my camera, all works as usual. But when I try to "remove cleanly", I can't because "devilspie2" keep some file open. it's only for some SD card, not all or not always. I have to stop dolphin session to be able to umount the card (changing folder is not enough) ~> ps ax | grep devil 2896 ? Sl 0:01 devilspie2 --debug why is this launched? any clue? thanks jdd -- http://dodin.org

ink monitor

Two questions: 1. Found an ink monitor in tar.bz format. Can OpenSUSE install something like that without first unpacking it? If so, what app to do so? 2. Any suggestions for an ink monitor for the Epson 4530 printer? Thanx--doug

yast package manager show rpm/package groups

Hello: Currently I am using openSUSE Leap 15.1. In previous openSUSE/SuSE versions (eg in 13.1) there was an rpm group list option in yast package manager/view tab pulldown menu. It showed a list of rpm groups in a very detailed manner where I could show/hide groups and subgroups like directories and files in a file manager. For example: +Amusement +Games +3D Other Race Shoot Simulation +Action Arcade Breakout First Person Shootes Other Race Shoot +Board ... ... Applications +Arciving +Client etc. I can't find this view mode in Leap 15.1, only a very rough grouping showing only 24 option like: All packeges Multiversion Packages There is no fine selection option. Was that option removed? If not, how do I get it back? If yes, why and when? Thanks, Istvan

Now that I can see the Epson printer and print to it, I would like to get the scanner to work also. When I select XSane Scanner Tool, I get a box "no devices available" --the scanner is part of the Epson printer and works manually. I wonder if this is the problem I had several years ago that required an addition to one of the driver files, but I don't know how to find out. I think I did mention it in a note to the group, but I don't know if that was for the scanner or the printer. (Also, there seem to be several email paths to the folks at OS, so I don't know which one it would have been.) --doug
