[opensuse] boot installed system

Hello: My mbr was overwritten by windows. I would like to boot an installed opensuse 12.1 and reinstall grub onto mbr. Earlier in such cases I could use the install DVD to boot an installed system (in repair installed system menu). The repair option has been removed from openSUSE 12.1 install DVD. (It seems I read about this somewhere that there was not enough resource to maintain it.) Is it possible to use the 12.1 DVD and load an installed system? How? [opensuse] firefox won't show data on certain websites

Howdy, I have certain websites that I frequently use, but for some reason firefox won't show the data on those sites. They work fine in google chrome, and sometimes in konqueror (although sometimes also it shuts it down). I would like to upload a copy of screen shots to the web and provide a link so people can see what I am talking about. What do people use to upload a screen shot? I can't remember the address. [opensuse] KDE SFTP accessing local machine

Hi, I am trying to access local machine over WiFi in KDE using sftp:// but when I enter username password of the machine I want to access it says incorrect. I can very easily do that using Nautilus, is there any bug or am I missing something? Is there any tool similar to Nautilus' Connect to Server in KDE? [opensuse] Gnome 3 will not Logon

I am having problem running Gnome 3 on 12.1. I loaded the proprietary Nvidia drivers 295.20 with dual display. I have the gt200 Nvidia card with a Xenon process (6). When I try to login in, it says one of the gnome 3 extension has failed. Try to turnoff the extension and re-login. I did the suggested turnoff, and it still fails. I suspect it is the alt-tab menu, but the extension is not on the activity setting. I found out that KDE, xfce, twm, will work. No gnome 3. Is there something I can help diagnose the problem. Loading the proprietary drivers using one click install is not an option. The company firewall will not let us setup the repository. [opensuse] Seamonkey filters not working

[opensuse] mounting folders into each other: also in fstab?

good day, having a rather old suse system, that needs to mount some folders into each other and such, due to some ftp server not being able to displays folders properly because of process rights or so. Do I also add this type of mount into the fstab?
