hello, I just noticed that here is no more 127.0.0.1 localhost in /etc/hosts on my 11.1 is this me or a default? Hello SuSE people, Got tired of fooling with KDE4 on 11.1 and blew it away, Reinstalled 11.0 with KDE3. Everything seems to be OK except for my localhost name, Can't seem to find the right place to change it whatever I do. The only place I find "Hostnames" in in Yast>Network Services and that certainly doesn't do it. Is there a native Webex recording(.wrf format) player in Linux? Used wine to do it. But am looking for a native player. Say a blog(-http://www.johnoriordan.ie/index.php/2008/03/10/webex-player-on-linux/ ) that says how to use in Linux as well without wine. However need a Webex account for that. Listmates, I pulled my hair out last night trying to connect to a FreeNX server on openSuSE 11.0. I read howto after howto, tried the default --setup-nomachine-key and with unique keys, I tried variations of sshd configurations for AllowGroups with utmp and nx, I put the client.id_dsa.key in all the right places, but I still could not connect with the openSuSE "freenx-client" package (it uses qtnx). Finally I stumbled across https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=405512 describing the exact problem I was having. The bug was still open and assigned. The bug had been open and assigned since July 23, 2008. From what I can tell from looking at the bug, nobody has done any work on it. What gives?? Thus my question, is the person that the bug is assigned to still working for openSuSE? Or, does somebody need to reassign bug this to someone who will fix it? -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E. [opensuse] Intel 945 Chipset, powered by NVIDIA: Should I install NVIDIA driver?

I have Sony Vaio VGN-SZ38 GP and on Windows platform, I can check that my chipset is Intel 945, and powered by NVIDIA. So is that mean I should install NVIDIA driver to get best performance for my GUI?
