Suse Linux 9.2 (failsafe) KDE 3.3 Please can some one tell me how I can link up my Epsom D88 printer to my linux Operating System? Do I need a special driver? Rory

I've had very good luck setting people up with epson printers. It is the CUPS configuriation that will get you. how to change mount option using fdi ?

I'm using SuSE 10.1. Does anyone know how to add mount options with fdi file? I want to update the mount option for my USB flash. Need/want automounting back...

Hey all, For some reason when I load a cd or dvd or cf card into my usb card reader, I'm not getting automounting anymore. I think it's because I changed my fstab a little bit when I did something a few months ago. [opensuse] latest nVidia drivers

List, does anyone know something about a plan to release the latest nVidia Drivers (1.0-8774) in the nVidia repository? I think for SuSE 10.1 there are still some chances, as it's still in sync with SLE{D,S}. How will this be for future openSUSE releases? Will we have the luck to receive drivers in this repo or will the openSUSE users again be forced to install the drivers like earlier? Thanks for some light in my darkness, Dominique

kcontrol - keboard shortcuts crash

Hello I recently noticed that after the current round of updates when going into Personal Settings --> Regional & Accessibility --> Keyboard Shortcuts the control center crashes. Anyone else experiencing this? I looked at the suggestions for improvements at the open suse site and noticed that there is no request for the ability to write to partitions formatted for Windows. Have I missed something, or is that something that will likely not appear in Linux for the fore-guessable future? djtuchler

I loosely followed this document since I had already a number of things from the installation. I do have some problems : the LED, and the fact that the wlan is always on, I didn't (yet) find the start and stop scripts from SuSE.
