I dont know if that is true. Cause my network here is all 100 full and I have always had to tell a system to goto full duplex. If your hardware/wiring can handle it, it will automatically work at full duplex. Kernel Panic

Sound problem.

Hello to all. In my computer I have 2 soundcards: one as /dev/dsp0 and another as /dev/dsp1, they work fine without problems. The /dev/dsp0 is working for multimedia, with speakers connected on, the /dev/dsp1 is working for hamradio purposes. But if I want to hear some music from CD's, with kscd, I only hear music from /dev/dsp1 instead of /dev/dsp1 (as desired). But if I want to hear mp3 music I hear from /dev/dsp0 (the correct soundcard). How can I change kscd (xmms as same behavior) to hear music from /dev/dsp0???? Any help will be welcome. My company is in need of a fairly simple, web-based shared calendar and to do list which we can all view and add to/annotate; to allow far-flung users to all see what the other is doing. Can anyone make any recommendations? TIA, Nick

The saga continues.....Wireless on a wing and a prayer WMP 11 v4

The website below deals with the linksys wpc 11 card. The card I am using is the WMP 11 v4 card. After contacting Linksys they informed me that they are working on a Linux driver now. They are in the testing phase currently. I'll likely try to get in on the test. I may proceed with the directions, but I'm afraid these chip sets are too different. I am going to install MDK 9.2 and see how it will treat it. I'm not counting on any other reaction that I am currently getting in Suse 9. My only other options are to find another card that can work or ( the most terrifying _) reinstalling winblows, or stringing a long cable thru the house.
