My company is in need of a fairly simple, web-based shared calendar and to do list which we can all view and add to/annotate; to allow far-flung users to all see what the other is doing. Can anyone make any recommendations? TIA, Nick

It's not quite what you want, but take a look at ors.sf.net (Sourceforge) ORS is for scheduling 'resources' like a boat or an airplane and has a nice web presentation of a calendar. Wouldn't take much to modify it to be a general calendar but I'll bet there is something else on SF that might do better. -- +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ + Bruce S. http://www.egroupware.org - might be overkill for what you need, but you never know, maybe it will work..... ~j

Try webCalendar (http://webcalendar.sourceforge.net/) I use this for a diary, but it has all the funtionality you need. It uses a database (I use mySQL but postgreSQL, Oracle, ... are also possible) and mod_PHP. It takes a couple of hours to set up, a little more if you modify the source code. -- JDL Non enim propter gloriam, diuicias aut honores pugnamus set propter libertatem solummodo quam Nemo bonus nisi simul cum vita amittit.

I ended up with egroupware and wow what a package - everything we needed including project management, calendar, shared addressbooks and messaging, forums - it's truly an amazing product and was up, running and modestly personalized within an hour or so of hitting the first sourceforge download page; http://www.egroupware.org/ http://sourceforge.net/projects/egroupware/ Thanks again everyone who posted.
