OpenOffice 1.1.0 Printing problem.

Hi, I just installed OpenOffice 1.1.0 and tried to print a document. The screen freezes for quite a while with CPU usage sitting on 100%. After about 2 minutes it does print the document. Also I have noticed that there is the same problem if you change printer settings. I just wonder if anyone else has noticed this behavour, before I go digging any further. Upgrade Question

Hi. Maybe OT, but I updated the OO the other day. Now it shows me Chez. Not that there's something wrong with this language, but I don't understand it :-) Is there anybody here, that can help me through the OO's Chez and bring me back to English again ?. Erik.

If you use Maildir mailboxes, in which each mailbox is a directory and not a file, there's an easy way to train SpamAssassin's Bayesian filter on your spam messages. First, save all spam messages to a folder called spam, from your mailer. Then run this script: #!/bin/sh SPAMBOX=$HOME/Maildir/spam mv $SPAMBOX/new/* $SPAMBOX/cur &> /dev/null || exit 0 ls $SPAMBOX/cur/* | xargs sa-learn --file --spam --showdots rm $HOME/Maildir/spam/cur/* # end script This should work from a cron job, because newly saved Maildir messages are placed in the new subdirectory. The exit 0 ends the script if there is no spam to be examined. Wireless - looking at netgear

Hi, I'm looking to go wireless and am looking at netgear products at the moment. MA401 - PCMCIA MA311 - PCI To be hooked up to: DG824M ADSL Wireless Gateway Router Now the MA401 has apparently got Linux drivers, so I'm not too concerned about that. However I would appreciate any comments regarding my planned setup (alternatives too). Have people successfully used either/both of the 2 cards on a SUSE system? Error w/cdrdao under 8.2

Howdy all. After using 'cdrecord' during my formative years with Linux, I finally decided to try to burn an audio CD in DAO mode - so I'm messing around with cdrdao. My .toc file seems to be in order - (no errors when I 'cdrdao show-toc table.toc').
