kview fullscreen stuck / kde 3 instable

Shalom, this is surely a bug in teh priogram itself. the last version did work well and also had a nice configuration menu. now not even the fullscreen view displays correctly. the whole kde 3 seems to be amazingly instable. especially konqueror which i use most. after all i wonder if linux ever did leave the stage of an explosion diagram.

SaX2 crashes in SLES7

On a fresh SLES7 installation SaX2 crashes the computer everytime to the point where I have to do a cold re-boot. Has anyone have a solution for this? System: AMD K6/2 -450 256M RAM Christoph Ruepprich

sshd not listening on offset

We have several SuSE 8.0 boxes running sshd with identical configuration files (what was installed by SuSE). All are set to " "X11Forwarding yes" and "X11DisplayOffset 10". About half of them then listen on both port 22 and port 6010. On these, it is very simple to tunnel an X application back to my local X server by using a command such as "/opt/kde3/bin/kate &". However, the other half only listen on port 22 and do not listen on the offset port of 6010. Naturally, attempting to run X applications from these machines sending the output back to the local X server fails. Any ideas how to make the bad half listen on the offset? I have done insmod ieee1394, insmod pcilynx, and insmod raw1394. Does anyone have a clue what is next in order to see the ADS 2.5 inch Pyro drive kit? What device should it be? Have found very little documentation on this subject. Art

Suse 8.0 and dhcp

Hello: I have a problem. Id installed Suse 8.0 and can not connect with my ISP. I have configured defaults options in network basics, but when linux try up the network show this message: eth0 ...... no IP address yet.....backgrounding if I write ifstatus eth0 command says that dhcpcd daemon is not loaded. I have tried of all but nothing, but Mandrake 8.2 and windows works fine with your defaults option. Can anybody help me, please? P.D. I've a cable connection

In Mozilla I get an error that the maximum number of redirections has been reached, while konqueror tells me that it "Found a cyclic link in http://lists.suse.com. I got a new box in my office on which I installed SuSE 8.0. The old box had 7.3 on it, and I had saved all my documents & stuff. On the new box, Kword will not open any of the documents I had created with Kword in 7.3. I can create a new document, close it and then open it just fine. I NEED to get back into my older documents - any ideas on what I can do?
