Trying to install the old Applixware from SuSE 5.3 again. netfilter tool?

Does anyone know of a util that works like pmfirewall that works with netfilter under the 2.4.X kernel? Yast2 on 7.1

When trying to do anything from the KDE control panel it fails. I click the 'root' button and it reverts to the wizard again. Giving yast2 to a root command line has this effect... 10:28:20 /# yast2 & [1] 2390 12:49:55 /# Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server Xlib: Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 key y2controlcenter: cannot connect to X server :0 Any ideas what that means? More usefully, what can I do about it?

Are you sure you've installed the development package? It would be gnlibsd.rpm, series gnm for 7.0. For 7.1 it's gnome-libs-devel.rpm. BTW, if you want to see what special packages are needed, look at the spec file in our source RPM. In the line beginning with #neededforbuild you'll find special packages like gnlibsd.
