[SLE] SUSE 6.4/php

Greetings; Started exploring php with apache on 6.4 stock installation and have run into a nubie snag. The Suse supplied test page (localhost) supplies info that php is up and running, but generating the typical test script <hello world> results in no joy, similar to other php scripts. Is there something that I am missing in the conifig to setting up php with suse's apache install. Hi al, There are functions within PHP which handle the manipulation/Creation etc of images.... [SLE] HELP...java!

I haven't been able to figure this out yet, however, here at work with an UPGRADE I did from 6.3 to 6.4, AND installed StarOffice 5.2, the installation found the 1.1.7 runtime java from the 6.4 distro. just fine. However, at home, where I installed an new hard drive then installed 6.4, SO can't find a valid runtime java to use!! Documentation with S.O. 5.2 states that jre1.1.8 should be installed. I've looked "high and low" on SuSE's site(s) and Sun, and can't find it! Does anyone have a clue where to get it or fix the problem? okay, so i have let the questions pile up, so now I'm gonna ask them all at once: 1) does SuSE have patches for their kernel up to 2.2.16? 2) if not, is there a patch to let the standard kernel use reiserFS? 3) if so, where can I get it? 4) has anyone heard of an application for X/KDE/etc for ColdFusion development? 5) anyone know of a good, friendly, free place to put my website?
