After now three months of constant trying I still cannot get my Epson 760 working under 7.0. I have restarted the daemon and stopped it to install lprng and plp but the daemon is never present. There is no output from the printer. I have configured it with apsfilter and from yast one and yast two. The BIOS settings seem OK as it detects the printer. Printing directly to /dev/lp0 produces movement of the printhead but no printing out of anything. Oh, and it seems to make no difference whether the D4 mode of the parrallel port is either set to auto, on or off. And, yes. It prints fine under another operating system! And I have the 7.0 updates to yast 2 from the SuSE site. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Steve. -- SuSE Linux 7.0

I'm setting them up with Webmin .83. I added the zones to both ns1 and ns2. A whois search for the domain shows that both name servers are correct. It shows ns1.si3.net and ns2.si3.net. It's shown that for the past couple of weeks, but when I type in either http://ultimatehwf.net/ or http://www.ultimatehwf.net/ into a web browser, it says the server cannot be found. I have also said up a virtual server with Apache, and the IP Address in DNS points to the correct one, but it won't resolve. I also added several other domains at the same time with the same exact specs, and they work just fine. If anyone knows the problem, or can help, please do. I was on RH6.2, and didn't need to do anything to get whatever feature it is going. So, maybe my question is, if I want to use a service like I-Mail, what feature is it that when I click on a button on the page, a dialog comes up and asks if I want to "continue submission"? Password on Win98 machine

All network data was re-installed as before. Now when I click on network neighborhood, then the Linux1 icon (my linux machine), I get a box stating you must supply a password. Within the box is: Resource: \\LINUX1\IPC$ and a box for the password No matter what I type in for a password, it states it is wrong and I do not get access to the linux machine from the windos machine. Before the crash, I did NOT get this box asking for a password. Any help in getting rid of it asking for this password would be appreciated or what I need to do to get it to accept a password.
