I have all the same problems. To restart in ip-up, I have to flush everything and start over. I have trouble with masquerading set to anything except ACCEPT everything. I assume that you have the wvdial.dod script with the corrections made? [SLE] where are the X11 header files? how to I compile vim with GUI support?

I am trying to compile vim 5.6 with X support. I am running configure with the options of " --enable-max-features --with-x". The output is always: checking for xmkmf... (cached) /usr/X11R6/bin/xmkmf checking for X... (cached) no checking if X11 header files can be found... no checking --enable-gui argument... no GUI support checking quality of toupper... good Well, what package do I need to install? It is driving me nuts, in the past I had been able to get vim to compile with GUI support, but no more. I am running SuSE 6.3. Hi all, I've been an idiot "@^\`|[ !!!!!!!!! I was trying to improve my XF86Config while beeing in kde -level 3. So I changed some things in my XF file, deconnected from kde which brought me to kdm-login and of course blocked my whole machine!!!!!! Before doing more ...... ,can anyone remembers which parameter I have to pass on initial boot prompt to recover my stupidity? Is it just SINGLE and will I be able to edit my inittab in that mode ? [SLE] Problems downloading with Netscape.

Hi Folks I am having problems with downloads using Netscape. When I click on a download link...no download window appears, but I still get a progress report at the bottom of the current page. When completed I get a warning like this: gunzip: /tempMO39DF.tgz not in gzip format. and I have no downloaded file. This only happens with some sites ....but always with Sourceforge. I also got the same thing with an attempt to downloaded the latest version of Balsa, from their home site. I was running Netscape 4.75 from Netscape and then tried the SuSE rpm There is no difference. I removed all traces of Netscape at each attempt. I have only had this problem over the lat day or so....and the programs download OK using Netscape under Windows.
