I have a couple questions: First, Redhat 5.0 has an X-Windows based package manager, does SUSE have such a utility? look at sbin/init.d/boot.local. See if that's what you want. I think it is. Last time I checked the commercial X servers allowed me to choose between 1280x1024 (which is unusable as it doesn't have the 4:3 ratio) or 1600x1200 (which I cannot use because the refresh rate is too poor). Only XFree86 allows me to optimize my setup (maybe meanwhile the other servers have this feature, too. I just downloaded from SuSE's site KDE beta 4. I downloaded all the rpm files into /root/suse/kde and I am trying to use YasT to install them. I am trying to set the installation directory but yast keeps saying that it cannot find the installation directory. Is there some specific directory structure that yast is looking for? Some file that it needs in that directory? Hi! I can print fine with the suse-apsfiletr 1.3 (suse5.1) on my necp20 using 360x360dpi, but slow. I actually use the necp6 -entry from aps-setup. Has anybody got an idea what I'd have to do to make it print draft with 180x180dpi?
