[opensuse] Advice for NVIDIA and Tumbleweed

I need to use a GPU/CUDA for some deep learning work. It should result in at least a 100x speedup compared to using the CPU. So, I will be needing to use the NVIDIA drivers instead of Noveau. I have a couple questions: 1. I see that the kernel drivers on https://download.nvidia.com/opensuse/tumbleweed/x86_64/ are for kernel-default-5.3.6-1.1.x86_64, while the current one (on my system) is kernel-default-5.3.7-1.2.x86_64. I know that the NVIDIA stuff is usually a little behind. When doing a zypper dup, has it worked that the kernel does not get updated until all dependencies (e.g. NVIDIA) are present? Or does one need to do something else to keep these two things consistent? 2. Are there any things one should consider related to CUDA? Any kernel options so set? Anyone else compiling/running CUDA code on Tumbleweed? https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:NVIDIA_drivers says a little bit. But I don't see much about this there. I hate dark themes, I can not read things. The borders are so dark that I don't know where a window ends to catch the border with the mouse. But the thing is, if I go to settings/Appearance and choose a light theme such as Aswaita or Clearlooks, or Crux, the tittle bar of the windows stays dark. Is this a bug? It is now not directory .pulse, but "/.config/pulse/", and I assume file "default.pa". [opensuse] NetworkManager, dhcp -> "NTP_SERVER_LIST" empty

Hi *, on my dhcp clients using NetworkManager "NTP_SERVER_LIST" is empty. So they always fall back to a static ntp policy. Looking into the lease files, they contain option ntp-servers 192.168.1.1; But this information isn't used obviously. Is this a bug or some kind of misconfiguration? I experimented with and without chrony, systemd-timedated ... To my understanding systemd-timedated should use chrony, if it is installed and an appropriate file exists in /usr/lib/systemd/ntp-units.d. chrony in turn should be provided with a list of ntp servers in /var/run/netconfig/chrony.servers, but this file remains empty, because NetworkManager never sees the above mentioned option. [opensuse] [Leap 15] RawTherapee in Leap15.1

I'm trying to install RawTherapee on a Leap 15.1 machine. There is no package in the openSUSE repositories, and the download on the RawTherapee website is a 97MB *.appimage file.
