[opensuse] Kmail Problem

The message display panel says: Retrieving Folder Contents Please wait. It is retrieving messages, just not displaying them.Updating folders does nothing. I have closed and opened Kmail. Sorry for the noise, but another example; I ran `zypper clean -a` then did a `zypper ref` and it asked to import all the GPG keys for all the repos I have. Here's an example: New repository or package signing key received: Repository: openSUSE_Factory Key Name: network:telephony OBS Project <network:telephony@build.opensuse.org> Key Fingerprint: 00E52249 561BD821 51A1B51E F6789EBF B0D19F7E Key Created: Tue 26 Aug 2014 10:54:07 PM PDT Key Expires: Thu 03 Nov 2016 10:54:06 PM PDT Rpm Name: gpg-pubkey-b0d19f7e-53fd727f Do you want to reject the key, trust temporarily, or trust always? [r/t/a/? shows all options] (r): a Retrieving repository 'openSUSE_Factory' metadata ..............................................................................[done] Building repository 'openSUSE_Factory' cache ...................................................................................[done] Retrieving repository 'openSUSE_Tumbleweed' metadata ------------------------------------------------------------------------------[/] Then, I go into YaST2 > Software Management > GPG keys and nothing is even in there. The last couple days when updating a package/refreshing repos, zypper asks me to import the GPG key again. I type "a" for always, and maybe about 10% of the time it will actually import the key. What is strange is that if I go back into the GPG key view in Software Management, the key that was there a minute ago can disappear all by itself. [opensuse] can't access external USB HD

Hi, I need to copy something back from an encrypted external USB disk, but my leap 42 laptop does not see this disk. I tried with another one, and it doesn't see it neither. The inly thing I found while googling is to type "lsusb" and there is no difference whether I stick in the USB cable or not. One external disk is an encrypted reiserfs. The other one is a Windows-FS (I guess NTFS). I can read the windows-Disk easyly on a windows machine. Windows also recognizes when I stick in the encrypted one, but of course it cannot access it (doesn't know reiser). Anyway, both disks are seen on that windows thing, but not on my laptop. Using the same cables. They blink when I stick them in but nothing else happens... Any ideas? Thanks for your help. [opensuse] Files that contain software release versions

Hi I know that when I ask questions I sometimes forget to add the releases I’m using so I thought, being a lazy sod, use the computer and automate it. I'm trying to get a small rough script together to print out all the software release levels on my machine at the time of sending. Is there a text file somewhere, that's similar to /etc/os-release, for all the KDE related release levels? [opensuse] Q: Removing Connection Limit for Default Apache Install (Leap 42.1)

Hi, I’m trying to install ISPConfig 3.05 on Leap 42.1, and use ISPConfig Migrate tool to move server installation. However, it seems migration tool aborts copying data because Apache limits number of consecutive connections. I don’t have mod_evasive installed. Thanks in advance for suggestion(s). [opensuse] Leap 42.1 Filesystem Problem

I get the following display on the monitor when trying to boot Leap 42.1 Welcome to emergency mode! After logging in, type "journalctl -xb to view system logs, "systemctl reboot" to reboot, "systemctl default" to try again to boot into default mode. Give root password for maintenance (or press Control-D to continue): [ 21.426046] systemd-journald[523]: File /var/log/a848146 ... e824/system.journal corrupted or uncleanly shutdown, renaming and replacing. I've issued the suggested commands without much luck in getting my system booted. Can someone help me get the file system corrected (if possible) and booted again. Thanks for any help.
