But you can just try dracut -f and see if you get any error. Obviously this assumes the system is rw mounted. [opensuse] Linode Kernel choice

Anyone on the list running opensuse 13.2 on linode? I am curious about which suse supplied kernel version would best suit that environment. [opensuse] systemd segfault

After the latest glibc update, systemd crashed as I was restarting dbus, systemd-logind etc. The only way to resume normal operation was to restart the system. [opensuse] Reminder Leap Second 2015 Today - older openSuSE systems

All, Just a reminder that older 11/12 system may not handle the leapsecond today gracefully. If using ntp, placing ntp in 'slew mode' will allow for graceful handling of the second. The attached script, if run before 7/1 will place ntp in slew mode, and if run after 7/1 will restore the original configuration. -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
