Adding fonts?

Hi all, Reading some mails on the GIMP mail list, I ran across the procedure to install some more fonts for not only Gimp, but the system and StarOffice to use also. Well, I installed the fonts, went to the shell and issued the command xset fp+ <font directory> and then the rehash command and all fonts are there! Ok, that went well, but each time I restart the system, I have to do it all over again? There was a previews thread where namebench was mentioned. I thought it was the optimizing resolv.conf thread. Anyway this is a different issue. Id like to run it. Hi, I am trying to set up a simple repo, I read on the opensuse site about a binary called genIS_PLAINcache, because I can't see to find it or the package yast2-packmanager either. Can someone help. [opensuse] migration from openSUSE 12.3 to 13.2 - from ifup to wicked

Hi, I struggled long to migrate fully from initd to systemd. Now before I do the step from 12.3 to 13.2, i have concerns of ifup being replaced. Not much answers found googling around. A. can ifup be used instead of wicked B. is migration easy? following setup (IPv4 only): 2 physical network cards (RTL8111/8168) eth0: LAN (DHCPd running on the machine) eth1: (static ip) as connection to VDSL2 modem dsl0: PPPoE dial-up device lo tun0: openvpn server running tun1: vpnc connection (manually created on demand using vpnc) isdn0: backup ISDN dial-in connection (started manually) modem0: backup UMTS dial-in connection (started manually) C. firewall configuration I adjusted SuSEfirewall2 configuration a lot (routing,masquerading,forwarding,...) and added custom scripts for traffic shaping using tc and iptables. have i take care of anything regarding this? Hi Opensuse, Do you know how to auto-mount the luks crypted root automatially without the passphrase? Just like another distributions, I tried: 1. Add the rd.luks.key into the grub, not work 2. Edit the /etc/crypttab add /keyfile:LABEL=KEYDISK, not work Do you know how I can fetch the goal in opensuse? [opensuse] ownCloud password

I have logged into my computer today to find that owncloud is asking for a password every time it opens! I have checked the kde wallet and the password in there is correct. I have tried re-adding the kde wallet password. I have tried removing and re-installing oencloud I have tried using snapper to roll back to yesterday (when it worked fine) I am using owncloud 1.7.1 and opensuse 13.2 64-bit Everything is fine on my work computer and my laptop using the same versions. I am assuming that something is wrong in the owncloud settings for my user. When I re-installed owncloud it remembered all the settings. I want to try and do a complete clean install but there is no .owncloud folder in my home directory. Unlike Farrugut's order at the Battle of Mobile Bay, going full-speed ahead is not going to achieve any useful objectives, yet the dangers of systemd are still there. For one, systemd is making APPLICATIONS now dependant on the systemd API, which means when even the biggest fanboys here, at Redhat, and other distributions finally are forced to admit that systemd is a crock of shit.... we won't be able to remove it.... in other words, unlike Farragut, the probability of eventually being blown out of the water by a systemd torpedo is 100%.
