[opensuse] outgoing tcp connections are limited to 200 kb/s, how to fix?

Dear all, since a reboot about two weeks ago, on a server I use, all outgoing tcp connections are limited to about 200 kb/s. Incoming tcp and udp both ways is fine (1 GB/s) and also when using multiple connections simultaneously higher bandwidths can be reached. The server is running 12.3. The problem appears with apache, but also when testing with iperf. There is only one switch in between my machine and the server and switching the port with other machines doesn't help. Things I already tried: - disabling susefirewall, completely empty iptables - check tc (shows no entries) - playing around with tcp buffers, like discussed at https://fasterdata.es.net/host-tuning/linux/ - reboot :) Do you have any suggestions what could be the problem? According to this wiki ( https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Evergreen ) 11.4 ended support this July. [opensuse] Can't start NFS server 13.1

I'm trying to set up a NFS server on 13.1. I have tried both with and without NFSv4 support. If I try with, Yast complains it can't start idmapd and if I try without NFSv4, it complains it can't stop idmapd. So, I guess Schrödinger's cat is playing with my computer. Idmapd is both running and not running at the same time. I don't see where it's enabled. I've checked both Network Services and Services Manager. How do I get the NFS server to run? Hi all, I have done an update from 12.2 -> 12.3 -> 13.1 with the online method (zypper dup). It seems to work all fine, but there is a strange problem with You. It don't work and says to me: "Couldn't load plug-in ncurses-pkg Check the log file!" Hello, When I try to print this document (landscape, two pages): http://dodin.org/owncloud/public.php?service=files&t=f6fbbe55dbed0690460c8a… libreoffice (Version: 4.1.6.2 Build ID: 410m0(Build:2) do see (and of course print) only the first page. [opensuse] printing problem with brother laser

Hello, I have problems to print on a laser printer brother 7055w The driver is the openSUSE one. the problem is to print in landscape mode. For example a landscape document in libreoffice is printed in portrait mode, with the right size, so only partly printed. same for pdf documents. I tried acroread, ocular, same thing, BUT kpdf prints absolutely OK!! so I guess the problem is not in the driver? of course, I know of the pronter options, but none is acjnowledged, the print is the sama, whta ever setup is done for the printer any idea?
