[opensuse] Empty LibreOffice 3.6 repo

Hello: I wanted to give a try to LibreOffice 3.6. There is an openSUSE repo for it with .repo file and repodata files but no packages. Is it on purpose or only an error? Dear all, Recently, I was appointed to rebuild my company's network architecture. The name of the company is OFZ (www.ofz.sk) and is located in Slovakia. So far they have mixed network (linux and windows) but the system was not developed for 6 years. My idea is to have network based on SuSe, that would be very easy to manage and contain all the recent gadgets (Kolab, OwnCloud, VPN....). Unfortunately I can not count with the support of the local IT stuff, because of lack of knowledge of linux and strong tendency towards Microsoft solutions. Does anybody know a local (Slovak, Czech or Polish) company or individual, who would be able to help me with this task on consultancy basis? [opensuse] Ugly, blue login manager in openSUSE 12.2

I have just updated to openSUSE 12.2, and the login manager seems to have reverted to an extremely ugly theme with blue, vertical stripes, which I guess is not the official 12.2 theme for the login manager. Any idea why, and how to fix this? [opensuse] How to set k3b to TAO mode

Hi all, Until now there was no problem with burning ISO images onto DVD with K3b. Now I fail to do so with burning oS 12.2. K3b says my writer does not support DAO mode so I should switch to TAO which might solve the problem - but I do not find an appropriate setting in K3b. So, does any of you how to do so? [opensuse] installed 12.2; sound works for root, not regular users in KDE

Greeetings all, I just updated to 12.2. I performed a clean install and my sound devices work in Yast sound config but unless I'm root the only device shown in the desktop/multimedia config is Simultaneous Output. The is both with Pulse enabled and not. And after several hours of digging what I've found is udev(?) is setting /dev/snd (and all below) root.root owner disallowing ordinary folk access to sound playing Not fun folks. I fixed it by manually setting the permissions but what's the "correct" fix? Bueller? Bueller?? [opensuse] 12.2 upgrade via DVD - bootloader left using grub

I upgraded 12.1 to 12.2 by using the install DVD. It went OK once I sorted out kernel and nvidia proprietary driver mismatches - probably my fault when driving things from the command line. One nasty is that if X doesn't start (nvidia module fails to load), then the system does not fall back to a console - the green screen with the white creepy crawlies never goes away. I noticed I'm still on grub. I see no changes in the boot menu, where as a fresh 12.2 install I have booting in vbox has a very different boot menu. Is there a recommended, documented and safe procedure for upgrading an existing opensuse system from grub to grub2?
