Hi. I have made a clean install of opensuse 11.3. I have this graphics card installed: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV44A [GeForce 6200] (rev a1) (prog-if 00 [VGA conHi. [opensuse] Strange DATA Problems (Legacy DBF Files)

Since upgrading to 11.3 I have noticed a number of strange problems accessing or manipulating Foxpro DOS tables. This is of course a Samba Issue. I see a lot of issues with 11.3, I can't even operate an ssh login to run yast properly to get a version #. What I'd like to know from the community is which version of Samba or OpenSuse is most friendly with these legacy files. [opensuse] LyX Problem: Missing *.cls

Hello Mates, i've tried to write a Document with LyX. I choosed the svmono Template. Now LyX says me, that "svmono.cls" is missing. [opensuse] KDE Stable (4.4) to Factory (4.5)

Since 4.5 is getting good reports I think I will make this move from my relatively virgin 11.3 install. (unless someone jumps up and screams in horror). I want to index the contents of a directory hierarchy. I decided to try tracker but am having difficulty understanding how it all fits together. Neither the docs at http://projects.gnome.org/tracker/ nor the man pages seem to give the information I'm looking for. Is there a forum or website where I can provide feedback and maybe get some answers? Trying to run KMail in LXDE I found that some 75 other programs have to be downloaded too. Among them Akonadi Strigi and so on. [opensuse] lsm space giveth and space taketh away: missing space?

I am running low on space in my /backups partition. I looked at the partitions and volumes to see what might be done (besides deleting old backups), and noticed: pvs: PV VG Fmt Attr PSize PFree /dev/sdb1 Backups lvm2 a- 10.91T 3.15G --- So I thought 'cool', I didn't make it the full size, and I have some left...ok...(I didn't remember what I'd done, its been a while). Run lvresize: lvresize /dev/Backups/Backups -L +3.15G Rounding up size to full physical extent 3.15 GB Extending logical volume Backups to 10.91 TB Logical volume Backups successfully resized Um...HELLO? Extending to 10.91? But it was at 10.91! pvs: PV VG Fmt Attr PSize PFree /dev/sdb1 Backups lvm2 a- 10.91T 0 Well that was unimpressive. parted /dev/sdb p(rint) Disk /dev/sdb: 12.0TB Sector size (logical/physical): 512B/512B Partition Table: gpt Number Start End Size File system Name Flags 1 17.4kB 12.0TB 12.0TB backup lvm Ok, now I'm really confused. 10.91T? 14.06T? (Obviously this was optimistic reporting if the partition is only 12TB!) So why does parted show a 12TB disk while lvm shows only a 10.91T disk and why did lvm show 3.15G free when it wasn't really there? How do I get my 1.09T back from lvm? That seems like awfully high for an overhead number for lvm. I'd expect more like "0.09T". [opensuse] Issue with max resolution.

Hi. I run opensuse 11.3 with GeForce 6200. It is running ok at 1600x1200 The monitoris an Acer X233H. But at 1900x1024 it will not work.
