[opensuse] ktorrent lookup error

Hi When starting ktorrent I get this error: ktorrent: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/libqca.so.2: undefined symbol: _ZN8QMapData10createDataEi and ktorrent disppears from the screen. I've tried reenaming the ktorrent folder in my home but no joy. Any ideas anyone? [opensuse] vsftpd stopped working after power outage or using Yast2 Installation Server.

Hello, I tried to undo the instation server stuff. I removed it from rsync, http and I thought I had from ftp. vsftp.conf is the same as far as a diff from Aug last year and now. Because I could not get it to work I did a /etc/init.d/vsftpd stop and /etc/init.d/vsftpd start It did not fix it. Some how ftp://ftp.zenez.com/ stopped working. I am at a loss for what it might have done. I also ran the FTP Server Yast2 to see if that would help. All that seems to have done is now you do not get a listing every thing times out. Any ideas on how to get this back working. I have had a few people report it and google tries to spider it and it can not. Any ideas on how to get this working are greatly appreciated. [opensuse] Installing 11.3 M7

Installation on a emachine from Acer with the dvd went perfect!! But!! Firefox 3.6.4-1.11 gives only reaction of a fault message. What to do? When i try to install Type 1 fonts with ./spadmin in OpenOffice 3.2.1.1.-1.1 I get the message 'Session bus not found'. [opensuse] X won't start in 11.0 and 11.2

X fails to start up in 11.0 and 11.2. According to the log it's because the siliconmotion driver, selected by SAX, is trying to create a 1024x1024x24 display instead of the 1024x768x24 display I selected. The latter size works in version before 11.x and also in 11.1. There is not enough memory to run the former display and that cannot be changed. There seems to be no way to change this behaviour, according to the docs I have found. (Docs seem not to have changed in a long while.) Heard somewhere enthusiastic comments about the web browser Midori. Went to Yast and found it there. Installed it and wanted to have a look at this small web browser. Found it back in the menu and started it. And now I need help :) First info I received was: ----------- gcjwebplugin error: Failed to run/etc/alternatives/../../bin/java. [opensuse] kaffeine puzzle

I tried to configure kde4 version of kaffeine to use dvb-s card. I tried to search for channels but no luck. I then copied over the kde3 config file of kaffeine and I was able to detect and all the tv channels (I'm scanning from hotbird 13e). Now I have the channels I find that most of the channels display video but give no sound. Maybe half a dozen I can get sound from but they are not the channels that I am interested in. Does anyone have any idea as to how I can correct this? kde3 works perfectly with picture and sound on all channels. However, since kde3 has been scrapped I thought that I'd try setting up the kde4 version. I have a Hauppauge Nova-S-Plus DVB-S card and am running KDE 4.3.5 on opensuse 11.2 Any help would be appreciated. [opensuse] 11.2: How to disable ipv6?

Hi everybody, I need to disable ipv6 in order to get VNC remote administration to work (see https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=546632) However, disabling ipv6 in yast->network settings (and rebooting) has not the desired effect: ipv6 still shows up on ifconfig, ip route and netstat. Guys, I need your help to identify the possible package that is now causing yast to segfault after yesterday's updates. Generally when yast has gone crazy in the past, it is a Qt version, but looking at the list, I can't find a package that fits the crime.
