[opensuse] kde 4.5 - did a dbus update come with that?

All, I see there is now a repo just for kde 4.5 on OS 11.3 http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Release:/45/openSUSE_11.3/ I'm intriguied, but I also read that upgrading can cause problems if you don't also update to a new version of dbus. And that new version of dbus was not in OBS as of a couple weeks ago. Any update on that? [opensuse] openSUSE 11.3 as host, Vmware 7.1.x, kde 4.4

I'd like to ask if anyone has run into the following issues using openSUSE 11.3, Vmware 7.1.x, kde 4.4 or kde 4.5 When running openSUSE 11.3 with kde 4.4 as a Virtual Machine, and with openSUSE 11.3 as host, the virtual machine experience numerous lock ups and freezes. Examples of behaviors include mouse stops responding to left clicks, virtual machine will completly stop responding and after several minutes will respond again. The same virtual maching (openSUSE 11.3 with kde 4.4) is run on a with Windows 7 as the host, at it works just fine ? The virtual guest has the opensource vmtools installed, as installed by openSUSE when the virtual machine was installed. Any ideas ??????????????????????? I've seached / google etc, found no hits on this one. Also there are no OMNI anymore as OMI is extremly outdated. [opensuse] YMP and One click installs

I am implementing a one-click install, and have a question: it is the case that the packages in a one-click install get reinstalled even if they are already installed? I have an up-to-date system, and added an existing rpm to a YMP spec, and the rpm was re-installed. I searched on opensuse.org for one-click, and for ymp, and got hits for actual one-clicks installs that exist. But not for the spec for the file. [opensuse] Problems with upgrade to OpenSuSE 11.3

Hi to all, Just a segnalation of 3 bugs i have encountered today with an upgrade of OpenSuSE from 11.0 to 11.3 (32 bit version). - Booting with an USB DVD Rom with an USB keyboard attached produces a system hang at boot (it freezes in bootsplash) - After upgrade, the package postfix-mysql is not anymore present, reinstalled by hand it works. - dbd_module into apache2 and libapr-util1-dbd-mysql not anymore present after update. Reinstalled by hand it works. [opensuse] Is anybody using clementine?

Hi, Ive just installed Clementine version 0.5.1-1.1 arch x86_64 from vendor obs://build.opensuse.org/KDE, but it won't run. I get the following error: :~> clementine clementine: symbol lookup error: clementine: undefined symbol: _ZN9QListData11detach_growEPii which I don't understand :( I'm aware that the latest version on their website is 0.5.3, but I'd prefer to get the opensuse version. [opensuse] Nvidia proprietory driver on 11.3

HI Does anyone know if the nvidia splash image should always display itself on boot up? At the moment its random on my system and only when i log out of a KDE session, never on boot. [opensuse] shorewall package

Hi All, I was just wondering, does no one miss the lack of a shorewall package in a opensuse repo? I can install shorewall but getting the rpm from shorewall.net but ideally it would be great to have it packaged in a opensuse repo. I'm surprised because it is the default firewall on mandriva(and works really well there), and IMHO I find it to be a great firewall program, and better than the default opensuse firewall. I'm interested in other peoples thoughts on this matter? Perhaps(likely) I should log a feature request at https://features.opensuse.org ... PS.
