[opensuse] resizing NTFS partitions?

All, How do I "clean" my NTFS partitions via Vista (or whatever) such that I can resize them during a OpenSUSE 11.1 install? == What I tried I have a laptop that came with Vista home edition. I want to resize the NTFS partitions and install OS 11.1 I tried twice, first time I just did a normal Vista reboot to the install DVD. OS 11.1 claimed the NTFS filesystems were not clean and wanted to delete them. I aborted and rebooted into vista and went to the drive properties and initiated chkdsk (or whatever it is called). That actually only flagged the partitions for checking on the next boot, so I did that and after logging in, they were checked. I immediately rebooted back to the install DVD and got the same error condition from OpenSUSE. [opensuse] Firefox controls by Search???

recently i get directed to search.com a lot. and most of my bookmarks are Search labeled (the icon is "S"). I dont know what i did with firefox, perhaps coz of addons?? How do I get rid of this annoying Search? Sometime when I browse to some sites like opensuse.org, firefox will report that the website could not be found. But if i refresh the page, it shows as normal. ref: opensuse 11.1 Version 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0) "release 82.1" Could please try to install the "aplication Launcher" to the desktop. When I do it stays open all the time I can not close it like it happens if you installed on the panel. OTOH if you install the "application launcher menu" it comes as it should with the kde icon and now with the gecko icon. When you click you have the kde menu. I can not do the same with the suse (aka kickoff) menu. [opensuse] opensuse.org wiki page change suggestion

Could whoever is responsible for this page: https://build.opensuse.org/ PLEASE put a whopping big "SEARCH" button on it? The link to the serach page is a very small gray phrase buried in the middle of a bunch of black text ("find the latest open source packages"), it's hard to find, hard to see, and hard to explain to other people where it is. Even better, could we have a new "search" link in the left nav in the "openSuSE" box that links directly to the search page http://software.opensuse.org/search? This has been bugging me for years. Time for an upgrade! :-) Thanks! [opensuse] OpenOffice --> PDF, weird characters

Hi, does anybody found issues with OpenOffice 3.0 PDF exporting function?, In fact, apparently some portions of text have their font type changed in the output, although the original ODT file looks fine.
