[opensuse] Postfix to stop all email from internet/public IP's to user begining with bk

Hello and thanks in advance. I want all email from public IP's/internet to bk...(a)example.com to be rejected. The rules for restricting private IP's are working great thanks to Sandy Drobic here and Mouss from the postfix mail list. Now I need to stop all emails to users that begin with bk from the internet but allow all other's. For example of two users... bk2000(a)example.com bk1921680001(a)example.com Here is how the system is setup. ----------------- | | --- Internet-- | Gateway Box | Internet public IP | | |-----------------------| | example.com | nic 1 example.com | | email users(a)example.com | | | | Some users have bk1921680001(a)example.com | | which is the same as the machine ---------------- ip1921680001.local.example.com | bk1921680001(a)local.example.com | bk...(a)example.com not all users are machine | related but start with bk | bk..(a)192.168.0.1 | | nic's 2,3 | one 192.168.x.x | local.example.com | Many Systems using the entire 192.168.x.x space Email from any 192.168.x.x for bk...(a)example.com stays on the server for them to read/pickup varies(working). What I want/need is any email from the internet/Public IP to bk...(a)example.com to be rejected and keep working any email from local.example.com or 192.168.x.x for bk...(a)example.com. As it is now. CORRECTED MESSAGE - JAN, I AGREE THIS DIDN'T NEED TO GO TO SAMBA Jan, List: Is there any way we can compile a kernel to include the VESA Video Modes for 1440x900 resolution so that we can pass grub VGA=867 for 1440x900. This will all me to work in runlevel 3 without the screen resolution being stretched from 1024x768 to 1440x900. The stretch causes everything to be distorted. The necessary VESA modes and numbers are: 1440x900 (dec; hex) ---------- 16 color --; -- 256 color (864; 0x360) 15 bit (865; 0x361) 16 bit (866; 0x362) 24 bit (867; 0x363) 32 bit (868; 0x364) There is also the new widescreen resolution of 1600x1050, but I do not have the vesa modes for that resolution. I would like to learn how to do this, or if this is something that has to be done by the kernel folks, I would ask that they consider including this capability in the future kernels. [opensuse] Scan problem in 10.2

After installing 10.2 I have once been able to scan with Kooka. Since then I have to start Kooka twice to get it on screen, but is it loaded twice. I get the message: No scanner found, no sane installed. Yet the scanner is configured and sane installed. How to take this obstacle? I have been looking to replace my built-in intel i845 video and improve performance with "desktop effects" enabled (using gnome). I have a couple of questions about this video card and SLED10 SP1. I have found this card: XFX GeForce 6200 / 256MB DDR2 / AGP 8x for a killer price. Does SLED10 SP1 have support/drivers for this card? Second, this card is 8x AGP; if my AGP slot on my mainboard is not 8x, will it still work? Is Networkmanager (this thing instead of ifup) suse specific? knetworkmanager is just a frontend, right? The problem is that (at least using knetworkmanager) you can't choose between infratructure only and adhoc connections. The point is the hotspot I'm using (it's inside a library with many students) is hiding its SSID. And windows make it to easy to start an adhoc network. So there are a lot of computers saying that they would be the hotspot but they are just a adhoc network. Networkmanager always tries to connect to the adhocs which fails of course. What to do to enforce connecting to the infrastructure?? Hi, I am using VMWare Server on 10.2 and am very happy with it. To improve my knowledge and ask the od question I wanted to join an active users group ie like this one for opensuse. I checked the VMWare site and found nothing, did a Google search which gave me several hits and one list at Princeton, however this list is a joke as I posted a query there on the 10th of Aug and have yet to see any other activity on the list. https://lists.cs.princeton.edu/mailman/listinfo/vmware Does anyone know of an active list or should I just add more, possibly unrealted, mail to this list? Hello, I have a complete forward and reverse DNS setup for local.domain.com and I am trying to restrict all 192.168.x.x addresses.
