[opensuse] VPN to Netgear DG834

My network setup: My mail server lives on my home LAN with a Netgear DG834G as the router between the LAN and DSL. At the moment I SSH in and forward all the appropriate ports. Evolution is setup to use localhost as the mail server. The problem with this arrangement is that I either have to SSH into the server when I'm at home too or keep changing the settings in Evo. Now, the DG834G has the facility to act as a VPN server too, which its web frontend says uses the VPNC standard. I was hoping to be able to set it up in NetworkManager as it also claims VPNC compatibility. The thing is that the information required is different. Before I set it up in OpenSWAN (which I'm sure will work), I just wanted to ask if anyone has had experience of doing this with NM? It would be a great thing to be able to show people who don't yet use Linux a simple GUI-driven VPN setup. [opensuse] keyboard shortcut to right-click in Konqueror?

Hi It's one of those 'must get around to some day' things... I use Konqueror as filemanager a lot. Overall it does what I need, and much of the time I get along without ever reaching for the mouse, which is good because I think I'm in danger of developing carpal-tunnel-whatchamacallit-syndrome. The majority of the instances where I *have* to use the mouse, is for right-clicking files which kde doesn't recognize, or for whatever reason konqueror wants to use a different application than I do, to open/preview. I know that I can change file-associations and all that, but it's not a 'real' solution. What I'd really prefer is just to right-click the file using the keyboard, and go from there. I've now finally gotten around to looking into the matter some more, and I'm kind of disappoimted to find... basically nothing on the subject... I've been grepping around in ~./kde, google is not finding me anything and finally bugs.kde.org doesn't seem to have anything on the subject either. Unless I'm missing something really obvious (or something really complicated), it seems as if there is no way to achieve this? I have a hard time believing I'm the first person on the planet to want this feature... Pointers anyone? Many thanks to Marcus, or whoever made this happen.. on Feb 22, the timezone rpm with updated time change information for North America, western Australia, etc, was posted to the YOU updates repositories. Not being a security update, it may not have made it into any update announcement. [opensuse] Flash plug-in; Timezone

Hello, all-- Re: 9.3 I have Flash version 7.x, and I can't get rid of it to try and get the latest version, which I seem to need on a regular basis. When I go to YaST and select "Add or Remove Programs," I can get Flash to come up on the right hand window, but when I select one of the two top selections (the third is supposed to be something that will fowl up the kernel) and try to delete it, nothing happens. I have tried to use the YaST program in the text mode, but I can't seem to get that to do anything. On another note, in the console mode I can see a Timezone update, again I can't get that to work either, but I can't see that update in the GUI version of YaST. [opensuse] recompiling kernel

Hi! I decided to recompile my kernel (I have openSUSE 10.2 with kernel 2.6.18...). I say make xconfig make make install_modules make install After rebooting it failed to restart. Hi, I'm planning to buy bluetooth headset to use it with skype. I have found this guide, but it is for 10.0. Does anybody has experience with setting this up in 10.2? Do I have to go throgh the same complicated process?
