Hello Brian, Yes, I installed Sketch 0.6.9 from the SuSE prof. disks. I haven't used it much (I got 7.2 recently) but it seems to work. About the files you asked for: "imaging.so" is in the package "python-imaging" (series: d) "libBLT24.so" is in the package "blt" (series: tcl) (and I have the libjpeg 6.2.0-188 package installed) and I suppose you already guessed, all can be found on the SuSE disks. SSH issue's....

Question for the guru's... I have a suse box setup running ssh. I can use SCP to copy files from other linux system's. I am using www.ssh.com's <http://www.ssh.com's> window's clients to connect. SSH shell itself is working, but when I try and use the SCP windows utility I cannot connect. It pop's back with "Unable to connect." Any one else have this problem? I have searched ssh.com but I am using the free version they have and they are not too willing to support it. TIA Eric

I use Grub as bootloader. I have two harddisks in my dual-boot PC and have installed Windows 2000, Best Linux on the first disk, and SuSE 7.1 on the second disk. The steps to set up regular dual-boot of Win2K and Linux: 1. Make a Windows partition on your hard disk and format it as FAT32 or NTFS. A good tool is Partition Magic. 2. Make the rest of the disk a Linux partition, including a swap partition. 3. Install Windows 2000 first. It will be seen as e.g. hda1 in Linux. Windows will install to the first part of the hard disk and overwrite the MBR. 4. Then install Linux on the Linux partition. Boot on the distribution CD. It will be mounted as e.g. hda5 in Linux. 5. Boot into Linux with a diskette or the installation CD after install. Get into Yast - System Administration - Kernel & boot configuration - Lilo configuration. If you have SuSE 7.1, Windows should be automatically set up for you in Lilo. Choose to install Lilo to the Master Boot Record. Dual-boot should now work after reboot. 6. You can now alternatively install Grub which makes it more convenient to setup and boot more operative systems if you want. Grub has its configuration file in /etc/grub.conf. samba problems

Hi, Recently I bought a HP laserjet 1200. I connected the printer to my Suse Box and used the "laserjet" printer driver. I tried to print with Staroffice and it worked. I'm running Samba on this Linux Box and wanted to print on my laserjet with a win98 client. When I saw the output of my Word document on the printer there were 3 pages instead of one and all giving me this strange information about postscript... Can anyone help me with this??? Thanks... Hello Linux folkz, Could somebody please recommend me a good laptop brand/model with PIII/P4 or better AMD processor which is working with Linux for sure. I need to use it as my traveling development workstation. I already tried five laptops without any success. Thank you in advance.
