Mozilla - Agent identity

Anyone have any idea what to do to set the Mozilla user agent identity... (as in MSIE or Netscape} so that some 'brain dead' sites will accept Mozilla? Which Radeon

Okay, I've decided to get a new video card and have narrowed it down to a ATI Radeon of some sort. The question is, which one? I see the 64MB DDR version for $150, but I hear the latest 8500 (also with 64MB of DDR) is faster than the GForce3 (at least in windows) for $200. $150 is really close to the top of what I would like to pay, but if the 8500 has more than twice the performance (which is what I hear on the windows side) then maybe it's worth it. The benchmarks out there are sparse, and are done with windows, so I would like to hear any experiences from the users on this list. QuakeIIIA FPS would be a nice benchmark if anyone can ;). chkconfig equivalent

Is there a command in SuSE Linux that is the equivalent of chkconfig frm Redhat? In other words, is there a command that lets me set/view my system's runlevel configuration? Thanks.

Hi, I had to do the same for my Chicony MP-978 that uses YMF715 sound card and sound works. Thanks for reminding me to turn off alsa and isapnp in /etc/rc.config. Hi Oliver, If I recall correctly, after a normal installation of a SuSE stock kernel, it DOES NOT result in the file /usr/src/linux/.config being created. I think the config file which matches the SuSE installed kernel is /boot/vmlinuz.config. If you want to be really sure that you generate a config file which matches the currently running kernel, log on as root and cd to /usr/src/linux. Then run: make cloneconfig This uses the /proc/config.gz special file to create a .config which exactly matches the running kernel. search / select package to load with Yast/Yast2

Folks, I know I did this once, but I just cannot remember how I stumbled on this before. How do I tell yast/yast2 what specific package I want to install on an existing installation? How can I search for a given package name and get a list of matches and pick the one(s) I want to install? I sure is NOT intuitive how to do this with Yast/Yast2! Thanks for your help.
